Makeup Review: Revlon Colorstay Foundation

Great review. I feel like going and buying one rite now. The only problems like you mentioned is there are no testers/pump so it's just guessing and praying the color will be a match. I think I might have your skin tone so might go ahead and buy caramel. I get light and dark depending on the sun and heat :-) hence extremely difficult to get rite shades.

PS. You have a beautiful face and an even sweeter voice!

hey, i wear the 400 caramel in revlon color stay. i've never tried MAC before and i'm dying to buy some. i leave in a small town so we dont have a MAC counter here at all, i'm plaining on buying it online. i was wondering what color would you recommend if i was to buy the studio fix powder plus?

Ghetto? People of all backgrounds do test makeup in stores that don't have testers. All backgrounds and at every economic level that uses drugstore makeup. It's not a "ghetto" thing to do, it's a rude and discourteous thing to do.

I do realize that for I have worked in the makeup industry for a long time. If you are a subscriber of mine you will already know that I did not mean any harm by saying "Ghetto". My subbies and I say that jokingly here without offending anyone. It's an expression that was not meant to be offensive. Just realize that there are "ghettos" in all backgrounds and at every economic levels too not just in the black community if that is what you are referring too. Have a Merry Christmas.

Thank you so much for the review and also for the mentioning of the sigma brushes. Prior to watching this video, I had just purchased a stippler (white flat top & black bottom) brush....did I say that right? ANYWAY! after visiting the sigma brushes' website for a few dollars more, I could've had the whole brush kit with that white top brush included!!! But that's okay, you live and you learn. I'll be ordering that kit very soon. Thanks again! SMOOCHES!!

I am not really liking it that much. The texture of it feels like a serum. (very watery to me). After using it for 5 weeks I did not see much of a difference. Don't waste your money on this one. That's why I really did not do a review on this one. I hope this helps you.

I don't wear foundation everyday but its a great go to foundation when I'm out and about and don't have to pack a ton of product of my face to look good and the non-transfer benefit of it all...how can you go wrong. I bought an everyday shade and went one shade up for photos.

I purchased this last week and I love it I got "ghetto" as well when I picked up my ColorStay shade LOL I just selected one from the back and eyeballed it then tested a bit from the cap. I think that you should have wipes handy in ANY makeup dept. even in fancy Sephora. Just my opinion :)

I just bought Revlon Color Stay this weekend. I LOVE it!! Nice texture, not oily, color will not transfer on on clothes. So I can hug someone without getting makeup on them. Light weight forgot I had it on.

I didn't state this in my review but I use the 400 Carmel Combination/Oily. I do really like the foundation but I am back to using my Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse because I need a bit more coverage than what I get from the Revlon. If I am very well rested and my dark circles are not as pronouced, I will use the Revlon!

take it back they will let u exchange it for your color as long as u have your receipt :0)
