hi there, i have some few 4 speed record players, but i dont have a single 16rpm records,and havent stumbelled across some yet, you still use these records?, where could i find these kind of background music records?.

I was enjoying this piece until about 2:08, until the -- glockenspiel? xylophone? celesta? -- solo. Such unrestrained improvisation! It broke all laws of musical decency! Surely, the instrumentalist must have been reprimanded for the sheer lewdness of it! It caused Mother to have a spell of vertigo, and I am reviving her now with spirits of ammonia. The idea!!

Really! Surely Jimi Hendrix was heavily influenced by the Seeburg music collection. I can clearly hear its influence throughout his guitar solos during the "Band of Gypsies" tour particularly "Machine Gun".

This really reminds me of a song from the 1964 film L'Amore primitivo, starring Jayne Mansfield and Mickey Hargitay, called Every Night is Date Night in Hawaii. I couldn't help hearing the chorus in my mind while listening.

I thought maybe I might know this tune but don't recognize it very well. Did you play string bass or bass guitar when you were in the band?

Yes, I played string bass. I was also in jazz band and played both trombone and coronet.

I started out on coronet in 5th grade and then went to trombone in 7th grade and started out with bass the same year. Still played the coronet and trombone though. We had numerous ensembles so I could still play either instrument.
