the statue of the Alma Mater is in the central courtyard of the Columbia University campus. Way up on the upper west side (about 114th st maybe). The buildings there are amazing from domes and columns to "brownstones".
Oh My G...Now that's how you do it. No wonder you keep going back - it's like a whole other city. Just think, 2009 and a lottery win. You could go, take the kids and not come back. We would visit. A lot.
