He definitely got rid of the ball before his foot touched the ground when he jump out of bounds. I mean you can pause the video and see for a FACT! The only question is... was his left football on the line when he caught the ball. It's really hard to tell because of the shadow, but he definitely got rid of the ball before he landed after jumping.

no if you look closely and watch it from that point over an over again you can tell his left foot hits the ground before it leaves his hand. that's no interception. but i guess it fooled the ref so that's pretty cool.

You beat me to it by about 2 minutes, Shlippy. That's what I did as well, I put it on a repeating loop. You can clearly see his left foot was down out of bounds before he flipped it over to his teammate. The question is did he ever have control before he went out of bounds? I'd say that if there was a review rule in high school, that play would have been reversed and ruled an incomplete pass.

The left foot was CLOSE to being down, the shadow made it look closer than it was too I believe, but because of the angle it's too close to call. Without other evidence, the ruling on the field, whether it was an int or ruled out, would stand. Great effort and great play one way or another!
