It's decent, just not a fan of guitar in my Castlevania. It worked for the area in the game. Dance of Pales was always my favorite from this game.

@harizotoh7 No, you're not crazy. I'm 100% sure Nightwish got their inspiration for their music from Symphony Of The Night... Their first real album was published about a year later than this game, and I've been saying to people for over 10 years that Nightwish got their ideas from this game :) Before this game, they made very different music.

Did you include Opposing/Divine Bloodlines in your list? Its pretty epic, especially the Castlevania Rondo of Blood for PC Engine, the very first version of it (I'm pretty sure it is, I think the SNES one came out later).

Dance of Pales was my favorite from SotN, but I have to say... this game has the best soundtrack of just about *any* game I have ever heard. This is my all-time favorite game, mostly because of the music... though the game itself was awesome as well. By the way, Konami, stop making 3D Castlevanias, you assholes. They are all terrible.

I LOVED the Banjo Kazooie soundtrack, Castlevania beats BK's music by a long shot but it should at least have a spot maybe 20-30 or less. Listen to Click clock wood, Jolly roger's bay, mad monster mansion,...or just listen to banjo land off the Nuts & Bolts.

IMHO, Curse of Darkness has the best soundtrack out of all the Castlevania games. That doesn't mean the game itself is that great, but the music is fantastic. The Cordova Town theme alone blows this song away by a mile.

I felt the same way...but then I would say that it has the most solid soundtrack...there is a large variety of music (jazz, hiphop, rock, gothic, etc) and to top that the music is pretty good...I would say SotN easily has the best soundtrack...but that is my opinion...whether it is overrated or not, I wouldnt say its overrated

Those songs just stand out in my memory, and are more fun to listen to, than this one. Not that I don't like "Tragic Prince", but as Castlevania music goes, I definitely like those other songs better.
