Super Nintendo Emulator On Wii

Okay the beginning of that. Wad. I don't get that and don't know what I need to do to get to that step. Also. Can you set up the snes usb and nes usb controllers to the wii to play this emulator? If you don't know could you figure it out if you have those controllers already? I need the beginning steps on the wad thing. I don't get it but I got what to on everything else in the video. Thank you so much. Also where do I put the roms?

i have a important question : if u got a Wii u can play games for example mario kart over internet.but if u play SNES/N64/NES/GB emulators on Wii for example super mario kart too (snes or n64 version)can u play that too over inet,whit peoples around the world,or only alone/2-4 players in the normal modus ??thanks for answer !^^

Nintendo online wont support something they didn't release. SO you can't play nintendo games via emulator online with other people. BUT, I still say Nintendo should implement Classic Virtual Console NES/SNES/N64 multi-player online.

Like play original Mario Bro's, two players, with someone else online. that would rock!

BUT, Nintendo wont support emulators. The 'hackers' will have to create their own private servers to allow it. And that costs money.

@ilikeplaystation doesn't mean the people wont create something that will have a channel so it can work. Have it working properly. Plus put it out there for the people to get. It will be hard to find of course. But it doesn't mean something like that couldn't be created. It's just software. All it takes is one person to know how to write it for it too work. They may not support it. But doesn't mean it can't be done.

I have a question...i have a black wii 4.2U....its soft modded so i can use USB loader config and a hard drive to play my games...if i load this emulator the way ur showing me will that in any way change the IOS on my system and mess up my softmod? and instead of using an sd card to store games can i save them to the same Wii hard drive s i can load them from there?

i got a question i have the emulators and games on my wii, but it wont keep the save files, example...LINK TO THE PAST i save it on the game if i reset the game itself the file will still be there but if i turn off the emulator the save file will be gone and when i try to save it on the SD CARD it says error cant create save file, i am using the emulators on the homebrew page itself, so is there a flaw there? plz somebody get back to me, thank you

this is a mega old video. There are way newer emulators available.

IF your homebrew channel does not read your SD card,

. did you update your homebrew channel recently?

. format your SD card (back up everything first) and try again

. try another SD card

2. For THIS version of SNES emulator ALL roms go in /SNES9X/roms, but they may need to be UNZIPPED

...considering this video shows the file installs as a file on the Wii menu...you just need to install the application with the HOMEBREW CHANNEL and WAD MANAGER...and you'll have the application on the Wii menu for acces when you want.

...thought that was kinda obvious. maybe you should watch the video (if you haven't) or you should pay attention to to the video...

Yes I realize that was a really stupid question. I got it to work, only problem is I can't save? I think I read somewhere that I make a "save" folder in the SNES9X folder. I did that, but.... It doesn't save. Any help?

This is a very old version. I haven't used it in a while.

in the main menu look for SAVE MANAGER and there should be an option to SAVE STATE in there. One save state per rom if I'm not mistaken.

mine too.  I meant there is a new SNES emulator which can play games from USB device / DVD or SD card. This video is very old and not current. I haven't had time to make a video with the new SNES emulator.

i tested this emulator out wit megaman X X2 and X3 and all music was really fast witch is not good....i also have another emulator but this 1 i boot off the SD card and i tested it wit the same games and its doesn't run at full speed :(

Depending on where you get it...you may have a ZIP file. You'll need a program like WINRAR or 7ZIP to extract it.
