@borderliner86 Nein, so kannst du das nicht sagen. Ich habe auch erst gedacht das LH jetzt alle 747-400 duch die neuen -8I ersetzten, also die -400er stillegen aber das ist nicht richtig. LH hat bekannt gegeben das die 747-400er Flotte nicht vorerst nicht verkleinert wird! Ich denke die alten "Ladys" bleiben noch ungefähr 10 - 12 Jahre, jenachdem wie alt die jeweiligen Maschinen sind.

it looks like the reverse thrust was used for a long time you can look at engine no 4 from the window. the reversals was used even on the taxi way for a while.. thats totally weird.. well landing was amazing though ....

@umam They were probably at idle reverse for part of the taxi. Nothing usual though, I see it myself every now and then. As long as it's idle reverse, the FOD problem shouldn't be that big.

Why Lufthansa didn't have individual video in 2008 ? Air france has it since 2002 in all 340-300 !!! Yes I know this plane is 340-600 it came after 340-300 !!!

Don't forget that: aircraft accident could arrive in any airlines !!! Don't forget many people died !!! I just want to say that Lufthansa is great compagny! In 2002 i took Lufthansa flight "Lagos/Francfort" in 340-300 & Iwas surprise that in economic class thare wasn't individual screen video instead opf in 340-300 of Air france you thought it !!! Don't be upset!

I have to take the LH flight in a few days FRA - Seoul. As I am claustrophobic, smoker (10 h without a sigaret ...) and fear of flying, can someone advise me how to spend this 10 hours (I do already have some pills, but all tips are welcome

I would get sleeping pills, and just go to sleep. Don't even think about flying, watch a movie then just sleep.

well lufthansa has an excellent entertaining programme, you can watch tv, listen to music, sleep...about claustrophobia think that you're in the sky, don't be afraid to fly! it's amazing!! and it's proved that there are lots of car accidents more than planes in proportion, if you're afraid of this..

about the cigarettes..i don't know how to help you..

I'm not so pleased to see that lufthansa doesn't have personal screens in Economy, Other Airlines even have personal screens in Economy. By that I mean Screens on the back of every Seat

It's because the aircraft is heavy, and they need all the air resistance they can get, so the ailerons deploy.

there was no seatback entertainment system in economy but its a fantastic plane. an airline like emirates would not fly even a new plane if it was not fully kitted out. interesting video.

frankfurt-seoul was 10:30h, seoul-frankfurt was 12:30h!!! what a difference!
