Lovely video, cracking locations, even though Pilning inevitable, first I must remember. Luke is right, footbridge at Cattybrook looked in danger of structural failure due to people. I was alittle further down and to west of the brickworks and got a reasonable pan.

Yes there's always one. Pilning was a bit too crowded for my liking, it was a mistake going there.

I think wherever you would have gone it would have been busy, especially Pilning as its on the climb out of the tunnel.

I heard that the brickworks 1 mile up the climb at Cattybrook was heaving and there was no room to stand. Its the nature of the beast, the loco has never ran in the area and people are bound to show interest.
