Am looking forward to seeing this one.Have one question though,it looks like the Yamato is dropping a depth charge......that cannot be.Did a Fubuki class slink on by and roll off a charge or was this a error?.
Pretty amazing considering that this was done on a shoe-string budget part time by true fans of the genre. A real work of love. And the original Ultraman 'Hayata' is in there too.
Would've been better if they used models and puppets. The 3A fire wasn't as impressive as 5-6 inch guns on the destroyer escorts opening up on Reigo, but they didn't have the budget for it. Another impressive effort is 'Call of Chthulhu', also fan-made.
Oh man... don't compare Call of Cthulhu to this nonsense! HPLHS worked with, what... $3? And they made water out of trash bags and glitter! And there monster was stop-motion in a period piece! This has horrendous cgi in the 1940's. That's not quite the same.
Of course, being Japanese, I have no doubt this is many steps above your average Asylum of Sci-fi TV movie.
