you should never feed a captive bred reptile wild instects, they have had no pre-exposure to any chemicals that that insect might have picked up. Good way to make it sick or even kill it.

I dont think they really need to borrow. Ive seen professional monitor keepers keep there ackies on just cypress mulch with no problem.

Yes its true they need to burrow, you can have sand but atleast have a space with some soil so it can dig.

hé can burrow, I got 1 side of the cage that is higher(10cm)so hé can dig a hole.
