  • I dont think they really need to borrow. Ive seen professional monitor keepers keep there ackies on just cypress mulch with no problem.

  • Yes its true they need to burrow, you can have sand but atleast have a space with some soil so it can dig.

    you should never feed a captive bred reptile wild instects, they have had no pre-exposure to any chemicals that that insect might have picked up. Good way to make it sick or even kill it.

  • yes they dig to make a burrow they need to have a burrow to acess high humidity
