Denise Richard's attractiveness could not redeem her performance, which was so bad it outweighed it. I'm not saying you have to be an outstanding actress to be a Bond girl, they've hired models before, but you have to be able to act somewhat at the least, which she could not pull off. Sophie Marceau on the other hand is both extremely attractive and a very good actress. They could have at least got someone with average acting skill for TWINE's second Bond girl.
