There is no B6 in these clips. Her D6 (Eb6 -F6 is really a scream) is tremendous but the C6 seems more dependable. None of this is done in whistle register which then makes me wonder if she could probably hit the B6 using it. It's all done in full voice which is a mix and much harder to do than whistle singing. How do you mark Octaves? I have learned the so that c1 is the c you get from A-string 3rd fret. Its the same c thats on the first "extra line" below the actual five lines in noting. Then you get c2 c3 c4 c5 octaves.
Ok so most people don't associate Erykah with range but 3 1/2 octaves of belting power. More than 1 person has claimed her Eb6 is in mix too, so you're right. Someone named Carolyn Franklin "belted" an Eb6 too, but it didnt even sound like it had chest in it lol. Plus it was like 30 years ago

That Eb6 was mixed Erkah belted out. Whitney Houston mixed a D6 E-flat in I am changing NYC.... thats in mix plus she mixes a B5 in that song.

How do you mark Octaves? I have learned the so that c1 is the c you get from A-string 3rd fret. Its the same c thats on the first "extra line" below the actual five lines in noting. Then you get c2 c3 c4 c5 octaves.

Ok so most people don't associate Erykah with range but 3 1/2 octaves of belting power. My god she is bad I knew she could probably belt a Bb5 or even C6 but a D6??? in mixed voice she is a monster.lmao I doubt if she has gone too much higher tho that B6 sounded more like A B5 but Any woman that can hit a D6 even in head voice is a beast in my book.

The first "F6" stopped at an E6. The second "F6" was a Eb6, even though she apparently tried to reach for an E6. The third F6, yup and F6! The B6 was a C#6. Please check it again. But to her credit, these incredible six-octave notes were belted too. They weren't whistle or head.... that is one HIGH UP IN HE RAFTERS belter! Don't know what xtinafan06 is talkin bout.
