  • fuck youu!!!

  • The idea of would be a nice cultural reperentetive if they wasnt any anger or fighting sign in it.Like Hawaiians dancing but these savages say nothing but about killing, fighting and anger!

  • @GoComando2 If I were that ignorant, I'd keep my mouth shut instead of letting the whole world know.

  • @GoComando2 They lived in a "savage" time. They had to fight for food, territory, and survival. The Haka aren't just for war- they're often for entertainment, welcoming an honored guest, or an acknowledgement to achievements. This particular haka, as you've pointed out, is for war. They're invoking the god of war to frighten their enemies.

  • @GoComando2 If you weren't so uneducated that would almost be funny, not every Haka is about killing and war, the word Haka itself is a generic term for dance, some were about good mantra and passing down tips on how to lead a happy and fulfilling life down to younger generations - these mantra were not just limited to Waiata. Yes many were geared toward war but it would be stupid to assume all of them were, as for Hawaiians being strictly peaceful, they had battle cries too. Maui?

  • are these people spastic or what they are just plan scumbags

  • @collingwoodrules ? dude learn some culture before you leave retarded comments like that think you need to look in the mirror !

  • @86nugget19 yeah

  • @collingwoodrules do you even know what a haka is?

  • @xxxusernameherexxx i think there qauting down to a poo and singing at the same time

  • @collingwoodrules ah yes of course

  • @collingwoodrules pretty tough behind that computer huh you wouldn't dare say it to a maori's face tough guy!!!

  • @86nugget19 no i wouldnt because they would squash me

  • noemacash thats just racist u racist shit.

  • Wish I could be part of a haka team. Could you imagine a world haka tournament?

  • NOOOBS

  • lol like half of them are random white guys hahaha xD

  • Yes, the original words and translation from the folksong.org.nz website. I liked them.

  • @Humaneanon, shut the fuck up.

  • This is fucking awesome! xD

  • 1:21 "It ain't gonna suck itself."

  • Sometimes this is what my gf acts like 1:03

  • My teacher is half New Zealand and half Samoan and he did this in assembly! It was sooo AWESOME!! :D

  • From: folksong.org.nz/tika_tonu/index.html Tika tonu! U - e! Tika tonu! U... e! Tika tonu atu ki a koe, e tama Hiki nei koe aku whakaaro, pakia! He hiki aha to hiki? He hiki roa to hiki? I a ha hā! E tama, te uaua ana E tama, te mārō Roa ina hoki ra Te tohe o te uaua na E tāu nei. Āna! Āna! Āna! Aue... Hī!
  • What is right is always right! Indeed! What is right is always right! Ah yes! Be true to yourself, my son! My concerns have been raised about you, so pay attention! What is this problem you are carrying? How long have you been carrying it for? Have you got that? Right, let's go on. So son, although it may be difficult for you and son, although it seems to be unyielding no matter how long you reflect on it the answer to the problem is here inside you. Indeed! Indeed! Indeed! Yes, indeed!
  • @vsundarhome is that what they're saying?

  • I'm busting this out at the club.

  • The one guy looks like a Maori version of Yao Ming

  • Thumbs up if you found this video on reddit.com :-)

  • mana levels are over 9000!!!!

  • lawlzzzz its so funny xD

  • makes me proud to be a human of mother earth.

  • With a small group its not really that intimidating. But i guess on a battlefield when thousands of warriors do this. Many enemies would have second thoughts i guess

  • There are things in my cultural history that make me feel embarrassment and shame. If this dance was part of my culture I was facepalm all the same.

Shit looks silly and hilarious, though attempt to be one of power. Pathetic.

  • @HumaneAnon What culture are you from? If you're white, you'd have begger things to be ashamed off.

  • @HumaneAnon bigger*. My bad.

  • Te Arawa :P

  • i love being a maori and seeing my history all over youtube ngati porou!

  • Would i get a raise if i walk into my boss' office like this?

  • Lol people around the world are amazed by my maori culture. I really do take it for granted

  • why shoukd i be afraid of skinny guys lol

  • Not that cool when performed by skinny people

  • o.O

  • they are seriouse

  • their eyeballs are gonna fall out of their sockets....

  • que miedo!

  • i have great respect for the Maori and other indigenous peoples of different nations. I love this! i was curious though- traditionally did the women participate with the men in a Haka like they do here?

  • Lol

  • If they did that on a battlefield with those girls, I'd get the fuck out of there, no doubt.

  • How easy some people mislead others defining as a 'culture' these primitive, not evolved, not refined traditions, instead of noting 'culture' as the result of long evolving spiritual process where the abandon of pagan idol-based gestures, results in trascending grupe-based choice towards more personal self-identity....

  • @sinoples Get the fuck shut the fuck up.... Yeah,we should all blend in our culture to one global bullshit.

  • @sinoples Now there's talking like you have an IQ, and then there's trying too hard to sound smart so that you only look lie an extreme asshole that no one understands.

This is the very definition of culture, and if you think otherwise, tell us all why in a NORMAL way, not with you random placement of fancy words that don't make sense.

And don"t give me that "I'm not going to waste any time on you, you're stupid, bleh bleh bleh", because that will only prove your being wrong.

  • @Shift9001 And before you also givea comment on the follow, trying to be a smart ass, "your" is used correctly in my last sentence.

  • @Shift9001 For your knowldege I inform you that my casual comment was/is inspired by an old poem wrote by Alan Poe regarding social ethics....and critical misbehaviours as, I see is your case here; then, I will not attend yours.

    Good night.

  • @sinoples So what you are saying is that this isn't even your own personal intake on the matter at hand?

You simply saw another culture, googled an Edgar Alan Poe poem and loosely quoted its contents, trying to look smart?...That's even more pathetic.

At least give people an explanation as to why you say the things you say, it really helps in avoiding conflicts.

  • @Shift9001 Disagreable one; Primo, we do not use to 'google' any poem, for I was born in an ambiance where reading lettereature in five languages was usual. Deuxio, I am not habitual to discuss with fish-market passing-byers and....Tertio, I recomend you a good spa, may it cure your intellectual nerves.

I will not reply more, so save your time. I blocked your ansewrs in my box.

  • @sinoples Most interesting, but please, enlighten me, what is this "lettereature" you speak of?

I mean, I know of "literature", but what do you speak of?

And don't try to pass it off as being "another language", because we both know that isn't true.

  • @Shift9001

How boring you seems to be Sir.'literature...'

For your condescendant knowledge, let us inform you..... this is the usual typo key-board erratas.

    Have a shower.

  • @sinoples

You're failed attempts at trying to make yourself look smarter and better then any other person on the internet is really starting to piss me off.

First of all, it's "how boring you seem to be", basic verbal knowledge, not very hard to do.

Secondly you are still just one person and I doubt you're royalty, so you still talk about yourself as "I", not "us".

I will have you know I shower on a daily basis, don't try and add unrelated nonsense to, again, make yourself look better.

  • Women too involved in this Haka's drama? No wonder they re-incarnate in savage tribal ethnies.....

  • I love this haka and the second one- the female haka. I've been researching different Maori hakas and the meanings and translations. What are they saying in Maori and what is the translation of this haka in English? Out of the dozens I have seen, this one is my favorite! <3

  • pause at 19 seconds (that guy looks like hes constipated and has a mental disability) lol XD

  • HARD!

  • @Valkrie88: wrong video. heaps of white pride videos elsewhere.

  • Me impressiona a força da "Haka" principalmente motivacional não é atoa que eram conhecidos como grandes guerreiros os Maoris.

  • So amazing ! I likes Haka !! lol

  • amina kodumun manyaklari!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • look at the women there look so scary then in the kicten no trying to be sexes

  • im sorry but hakas sound wayy better all male

  • I really would like to know what they are saying. Is there a word for word translation for this haka?

  • @jbungecake there is a video with subtitles and although i cannot vouch for its authenticity. it is 1st listing when 'haka translation' is searched in youtube.

  • I don't care what anyone says, this is the most adrenalin pumping haka I've seen in around! I've done a lot of haka's but everytime I watch this vid I can't help but to get hype!

  • they hapton!, youihaaa!!

  • Those dancers have lave in their veines ! WoW!

For me it's obvious that Haka is today the expression of maori's conscience against white colonialism mind... which is not dead yet in Aotearoa, unfortunately. For the health of every culture on the earth, it's necessary to show everyone that all cultural expressions ( specially all languages ) are equivalent and that the most cruel crime that can be done is to erase one of them.

Thanks for posting this video .

  • @Cesc8170 no tines razón

  • @sir360ktm

Maoris don't have to "assimilate" (presumably into white society), shall I remind they are the natives and whites the illegal invaders.

As for those racists whites in NZ who do not like maoris: get the fuck off THEIR land, YOU're the foreigners, not THEM.

  • Me encantan estos viedeos.

  • If I were on a battlefield and saw THIS happening before me, I admit it, I would get a little scared. Well played, New Zealand, well played.

  • I love haka but my skin get red after haka lol

  • @maoriwidavengance - Good on you. You stay proud of who you are. Many people are dull and ignorant but that's their problem not your's.

  • it should be subtitled.. i think they say incredible things!!

  • what an amazing display of cultural pride. absolutely beautiful!

  • Bravo!

  • wooow !!

  • It's truly amazing; if you watch the NZ Rugby team perform the Haka you can really see what it means to the natives in comparison to the normal whites. The native players are really geared up, huge eyes and their hearts are thumping, whereas the normal white NZ players are almost doing it without emotion. Such a beautiful culture and it's amazing that these Maori traditions still exist in the modern world.

  • fucking awesome dudes....the facial expression is magnificent...keep it up!!

  • Beaut video. The Haka is definitely a part Maori culture worth preserving

  • Comment removed

  • stupid black niggers

  • @SuperStagg1 - this guy. Bet you wouldn't have the balls to say it to their faces mate... won't throw any mad insults but you sound like an ignorant and uneducated bogan. I hope you're not a kiwi yourself cause I would hate that there are people like you living in such a beautiful country with such a beautiful indigenous people.

  • @MrJapaneseboy1111 well you have to see where they are coming from, i am chinese, and i live in hawaii. over here you could say the cousin island of nz, polynesian culture is dead, industralized by america the once prideful hawaiians are extinct, estimated that at 2044 there will be know pure hawaiians left. from 500,000 to 2,000 full hawaiians in the last 300 years. nz, maoris are only 9% of its population, speculation from research. i'd be pissed if my culture was threatened too.

  • This is the most interesting thing I've ever seen. I love learning about different cultures around the world and even languages, but this is just amazing. I'm dying to learn more about it. I've never seen anything like this before.

  • My parents are both Kiwi's, not Moari (Mum's of Fijian descent). I've only been back 'home' once, although sadly I never had the fortune of seeing it performed right in front of me.

I get a lovely feeling of pride when watching this. Thank you :)

  • I love how the Women are a part of it as well. Makes it awesome.

  • That's amazing!

  • they face does not hurt

    and what are they shout?

  • @marijanmari huh?

  • they face does not hurt

  • Those girls behind the guys are more scary..

  • I LOVE IT

  • @womblewandering Thanks. :)

  • Maori......warriors!!!!

  • @SugarTomAppleRoger Mybad man

  • This is one of the most amazing cultures. I first found out about it in an online game. it intrigued me so much I found it here a few years ago and come back when I need a pick me up. This is simply fantastic to watch. I would not want to be on the receiving end of this in RL.. Excellent culture! gives me pride for them..:)

  • @kivanyel Agreed. It is the Maori culture that makes New Zealand real.

  • To all you Maori and true New Zealand, try not to be affected by someone who doesn't understand your culture and disgraces it to feel better about himself. And don't let him speak for all white people.

Have pride in your rich heritage. I'm proud of you and I don't even live in your country. If I did, I'd be begging for the privilege of sharing in your culture and life and would be thrilled to attend a live Haka.

  • @Ratgrappler Same here; go Polynesians!

  • @cooldude86ish: as a matter of fact there are full blooded maori out there you stupid twit!,i dont know where you got that from because buddy you are dead wrong!, another white boy who thinks he's superior and knows everything! your stupidity is blinding you white boy!, check your self arrogant idiot!, so celebrate on that loser!

  • @XXmacey96XX The haka is a means of channelling fear and negative energy that can have dangerous consequences.

  • MEAN MAOR MEAN !!!!!

  • haha Love our the girls try the look scary. What cuties!

  • @MatsPT

I think, I had to go to the maori.

    Greetings from Hamburg !

  • @MatsPT "our" = "how"

  • @torupani well said. i've thought of many ways to express what you wrote but, its way longer it would be the equivelant of four pages instead of one paragraph. only this paragraph is the best i can do to come close to what you explained and this paragraph is only a compliment to what you wrote. happy new year from a greek canadian.

  • the haka goes hard! Now pass me a gun!

  • @acadia1106 that was dumb

  • @torupani A coward is someone who unleashes their anger on those members of society least able to defend themselves, something Maoris seem very adept at.

  • that gets me pumped up

  • I can do that.

  • what the haka called ?

  • PS: I may be a marine, but god damn, if I saw that, I'd be like 'Oh this is fucked' -run-

  • @pizzasryummy lolz yea and the older guys were probably like huge XDD maori rule

  • it would be an Honor for me to go to battle with such fearsom and proud warriors

  • @insanemagicguy

You're not worthy of a reply, I don't appreciate being called a bigot for choosing to be gay, I can't help it that I am sexually aroused by boys and yet you piously sit there and judge me, call me a bigot?

There's a difference between racism and facts, all I have done is state facts, yet you spew your homophobic hate-speech by calling me a bigot?

SHAME ON YOU, OBVIOUSLY YOU'RE FUCKING INSANE, IT'S YOUR NAME!

Just don't let your insanity get you suspended for Anti-Gay Hate-Crimes.

  • this type of haka is similar to ours but were only yrs 7&8 students these guys do it better than our boys...

  • this is one of the most awesome things I ever experienced in my life..more power to these warriors

  • The girls are really cute.

  • @YaverMemolibaba

    LOL!!!

    Racist cocksucker?

  • Um viva !! ao bravo povo Maori !! Parabens a sua cultura é linda !!!

  • @piontro

What about the Musket Wars? 1807 to 1839.

  • If I was getting in war with the Maori back in the day...and I saw this dance...I would turn around. I would give up.

  • @piontro my friend, you can only win a war, if you are the home team...

  • @piontro ^^ failtroll is fail

  • @piontro I respect the maori culture and find their fighting tactics fascinating, but was that comment on America really necessary. Grow up.

  • Tch who wouldn't be scared.... I mean since this was used to taunt their enemies ya know. I woulda pissed myself if i was their enemy.......

  • mean haka

    rewa hard

  • @nicolejana6 , we british went to other lands and took them by force because let's be honest here: Britain fucking sucks. I mean look at that piece of shit grey island. How much more of a pathetic homeland can an anglo saxon get? Now I see why we had to take other lands that did not belong to us. And the smell of hundreds of years of fucking our livestock, incest, homosexuality, and other anglo saxon customs only added to the problem. Nobody wants to live in britain. lol.

  • WOW...even the ladies are angry!

  • @nicolejana6 I'm confused. Yes the Americans were American at the time they expelled the British. Look it up it was the American war of independance. Who suggested China Kenya etc were 'better' than anyone? I think you're reading my comments out of context.

  • @MoralInvasion Okay yes perhaps I did take your comments out of context lol.

Perhaps I should have read all your other comments prior to making a reply. However, I do not feel like doing that at this point in time. So I will continue to watch this video and stay out of the conversation for the time being ^^

  • u need to watch new zealand wars and do your homework

  • @Raeouwl Yes I knew that was your source, much of Belich's nonsense has been disproved, the man is a lunatic.

  • GAD DAM.

  • Impressionnant !!!

  • Probably one of the earliest examples of Psychological warfare.

  • @piontro no... pyschological warfare was around a long time before Maori. Look at Ancient Greek and Roman culture.

  • @BaadNeighbours, wow umm i guess survival was extremly something serious stuff back then

  • Incredible. The USA should give thanks that they are not fighting against the Maoris. Just by listening to this; I suppose war song, would make them shit themselves.

  • I love your energy!! wish I could be that powerfull!!

  • the moment where caucasians made some native activities are too unusuals.

  • Aweome. i love the dance,energ,

    greetings from Sweden :)

  • @nzguitarsolo I love maori boys and I want you!

  • @Morallnvaslon Oh tru bro. Ok Ill grab my patu and shove it up your ass that'l get you off ay bro

  • The guys look so strong and fearless, the best part the girls behind them, they are really sexy

  • If this is something they did before going to war, I feel bad for their enemies, they probably shat themselves. Awesome, I never hear this kind of tradition or art before.

  • @piontro

Actually they, the maoris' enemies didnt shit themselves cos they won!!
