钢琴是纯十二平均律的乐器，只能奏出固定的音高，不能象古筝琵琶­一样，产生变化音，而且长音效果也无法和古筝琵琶比.　用它来演奏要求韵味的＜春江＞，效果肯定不好.不过如果用它的本­身的强大的伴奏复调功能，奏出西方感觉的＜春江＞应该是非常不错­的.

I think that this a blend of 春江花月夜 + (subtle hint of) Yellow River Ballad = Traditional Chinese w/ "Classical" (more modern than Traditional) Chinese flavor.

The piano is highlighted by the orchestra, making it sound louder.

I agree that if you took out the piano and had the orchestra play a more traditional version of 春江花月夜, it would probably sound more lively.

This is not a bad version of 春江花月夜 just a more updated version.

Nah, I agree.. the piano is out of place.. it doesn't quite fit.. it's just too much..

I think that replacing the piano with the guzheng will sound better, or will it not? Because the piano recorded above is too loud and doesn'ts ound very chinese. However, everything is great. The video's brilliant.

I think it sounds very chinese, what's not chinese about it. You've got to be familiar with chinese music and the piece as well to truly appreciate this arrangement.
