@BigHyundai Sorry for the late response, you have to press [*] [6] [Master Code] [6] If you hear 3 beeps the chimes have been enabled and one long beep its disabled. It's been a while since I've use that model alarm, it might possibly be [*] [6] [Master Code] [4] instead of [6] Hope this helps
There is a delay while arming. No exit delay beep. You have to wait until the green light goes out and the armed light only is on, then it is fully activated. The trouble conditions are no AC and low battery.....
i install alarms it looked like it was fine to me but your trouble light is on no big thing you said it was a ac fail and a low battery ... if it was unplugged for a wile the battery would be low let the battery charge up then call the alarm company and tell them your going to test your alarm after the battery has charged sound the alarm and then turn it off it will clear the trouble light if the light comes back on replace the battery and repeat remember to call the alarm company
yea u didnt no u set it in delay mode. if u were tryin to arm it to instant u push star 9 then the code and if u use delay mode it takes like 1 min or less to arm idk just wait 2 min at the most
you know, you shouls make a video of the system in action. like arm it, trip the delay, set it off....etc. thats kinda what i try to do. plus i want to see that system in action. just a thought
It seems that the previous owner turned off the Exit Delay Beep. I was under the impression that the system had armed instantly, but in actuality the the exit delay was running silently in the background and that's why the door did not set off the alarm.
how do you enable the exit delay beep?
