  • all humans are guarenteed minimum food clothing and shelter, above that if the human exceeds that position they can advance above other people! This could still allow monetary advancement within only personal social advancement, like having a nice home or property! the money could not be allowed to be used for the human to take over the social structure of the society!

  • Anyone know where we can find this web series???

  • and still being glad if technology would make me redundant... what a beautiful world. Sorry, I am dreaming too much here.

  • A econometry needs at least 2 entities exporting to one another. Every global system we come to that is no longer an economical system will be closer to communism than anything else. An island of communism between other econometric systems, cannot survive, but as soon as a system works 'in rest' and is second to none... it will be close to socio -communism. And it could work perfectly. Never liked '-isms' anyway.Everybody working for the technocratic gvt.,no more money,3 hrs a week just for fun.

  • A leaf that is blown by the wind, or replaced by hand. First is referred to as 'natural', the second as 'artificial'. We're too stupid to realize we're still nature, so it is nature pumping oil out of the Earth and making plastic out of it... still is, you know. It is nature treating nature if we manipulate genes, though it doesn't mean we won't get in trouble... oh yes we are, that's for sure. Can't tell you exactly 'when' though.

  • One thing's for sure : day and night, ... Alfa (eyes open), Beta (eyes shut), ... just a copy of nature. No wonder our initial computers work on a 'binary code', 'electricity', 'no electricity', and than making everything in a bisymmetrical way, except out its use... or except art imitating life, or except encryption (a bisymmetrical sheet with encryption disturbs our mind, and we just HAVE to encrypt it). A robot in movies is always an effort to replicate ourselves, all very funny, isn't it?

  • Now, another thing is balance. Every system needs it. Balance between numourous extremes, extremes are bipolar interpretations. Bipolarity could be electro-magnetism, one of the reasons , maybe, that made our minds conceive 'good' and 'bad', electro-magnitism brought matter together prior to our planet having a heated metal core in order for it having a gravitational field. Anyway, I am speculating here.

  • One of the issues is the fact of root-behaviourism. We are depending on a system that initially nurtured us, everything that surrounded us made us 'grow up' before it made us 'throw up'. There are no 'generations' because every year there are people born and conceived in the system, by the system. By the time you're able in criticising the system, most of us are already way too much conditioned to join in growing an alternative. This is only part of the problem, but still...

  • I can wait for people to get smarter and start thinking about the world they live in without pre-bias.

  • George Carlin said it: He may have put on a performance for comedy relief but.. his ideas were clear, his message was clear: THE OWNERS of our Countries!

  • PJ, PJ - You can do better than this. 'Class' is based in history as def n.A set, collection, group, or configuration containing members regarded as having certain attributes or traits in common; a kind or category.

Occupy would maintain class distinction through membership of nothing more than the human condition without any further definition but recourse to personal perceived aggrievance through ignorance of a greater cause and sympathy to their issue. A sorry state but one we must rectify.

  • So the US continues to be the root of the tension and problems in the world...

Look to history and look to the future. No change really - god of Abraham is in the delusional mix and no acknowledgement that xxx.xxx.xxx.Earth is everyone's real address. People are mudered through classism and TZM should target US as the real obstacle to the RBE before the rest of the world that understand the US to be the root of corporatocracy through crazy religion and the free market economy. Islam with Jesus

  • Cont'd. Allah with Jesus in a coalition with Yahweh are the ideas that are supposed to transcend class but provide to be so devisive through ignorance and hatred they are long overdue as conceptual icons provided prior and consequent to Constantine in 3AD to be of focus. Education has a steep learning curve to surmount for the sake of humanity's future, especially in the US...

  • ca .000000028142875% = the percentage of the human population that is a "leader" of a "nation."

  • These are complicated problems with complex solutions. Actually he would be helping the middle class buy stopping inflation which would keep prices from going up, and what little we have saved would be worth something. Yes, I like Ralph Nader but he is not on the ballot. If we do not vote for Dr. Paul, then who else? I do not want my children to grow up in a police state run by financial oligarchs. Ron Paul is not perfect, but who is???

  • What a breath of fresh air. Thanks.

  • If the majority of us (the 99%) would only just listen to THIS PODCAST, or EVEN IF the majority of us would just listen to the last quarter (from 38:40 on) of this podcast, THERE WOULD DEFINITELY BE A REVOLUTION (and being that WE are THE MAJORITY...WE WOULD WIN)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PASS THIS ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i hope peter is ok. I am so thankful for his actions

  • its true when you quote something to someone they dont tend to listen but you can talk to someone and get to the point with you from disscussion they feel like they come to that conclusion with you

  • I can't wait for Zeitgeist: Beyond the Pale!

  • bring back the Z forums dammit!

  • RATM, amazing debut album. Have a good new year all at TZM

  • I forgot how fucking awesome RATM was...

  • The Occupy movement is losing momentum. I know it's not the same as TZM, but they're closely related. The window of opportunity is closing fast, what you're gonna do? Fade into obscurity? Your hippie globalist nonsense isn't going to cut it, what we need is a revolution with teeth. Freedom for those who deserve it. Seasteading or GTFO.

  • @Parapon3ra I dont know what your problem with TZM is, but your "criticisms" arent helpful at all.

And what exactly does "Freedom for those who deserve it" mean?

  • @InContemplation 'your criticisms arent helpful at all'

Actually, seasteading is the only way to (locally) implement, or at least freely experiment with, things like RBE. It is something that can be done relatively quickly & cheaply, and doesn't need political or popular support. It's a long shot, but at least it is a shot. There will never be a peaceful, global, anti-capitalist revolution. People are just too divided, and frankly, too fucking stupid for that.

  • @Parapon3ra Seasteading is interesting but if we divide that society from the larger society and the seastead thrives, won't it be invaded by weakened governments and desperate people in order to steal the resources? Also, if the whole world goes to shit and the seastead is the only place to survive will the technology be produced to reclaim the fucked up world and environment? I think we have to provide people with the information that we know and let them do with it what they will.

  • @Josephjoel3 "Seasteading is interesting but if we divide that society from the larger society and the seastead thrives, won't it be invaded by weakened governments and desperate people in order to steal the resources?"

The principles of RBE (automation, efficiency) can be applied to defense as well. And if the world does go to hell, seasteads may be mankind's only hope.

  • @Parapon3ra Interestingly, your statements unravel my own speculative thought on a scientific and technically efficient society. I have often thought of a world that would do away completely with suffering and misery while retaining the vast weapons technology and knowledge we have accumulated over the centuries. I think it is important because that technology may be useful when we begin to explore space following the implementation of RBE principles. We never know what we might find out there.

  • @InContemplation 'And what exactly does "Freedom for those who deserve it" mean?'

It means that we should try to create a new society for and with those who support reason, freedom, and progress. The religious zombies, fascist conservatives, sanctimonious PC lefties, and all the other lunatics and scumbags of the world should, at least for the time being, be left to rot in the hells of their own creation. Trying to 'save' them is a waste of time, and even morally questionable.

  • @Parapon3ra Let me ask you something, if a Neo Nazi said the same thing about you, claiming to make a "White Utopia", yet are willing to disregard the human race overall just to make their lives better while ignoring the problems everyone else faces, even if those problems are common with their own, would you take them seriously?

If your answer is no, why would anyone else take us seriously if our means and motives dont apply to the entire populace? There's little difference.

  • @InContemplation "why would anyone else take us seriously if our means and motives dont apply to the entire populace?"

'Everyone' doesn't have to take us seriously, just enough people to make it work. If and when there is a working model, the rest of the world can decide for themselves whether they want to join, or stick with the status quo.

  • peter, jacque, che, marx, ron paul , men with integrity!

  • @DJKAYZEE ron paul IS NOT a man of integrity. Please don't get me started! He is racist homophobic and an overall fool like any politician! He has no solutions AT ALL! He is speaking in the same terms as his predecessors he is using the same techniques and tactics as those before him and in his midst. His plan is to cut ALL social programs in order to balance the national checkbook I mean COME ON! I am not attacking Ron Paul per se I am attacking the train of thought that influences his actions.

  • @Josephjoel3 I disagree with you fundamentally on the character of ron paul.

And there are many ron paul ideas that i do not support, like his faith in the free market. Ron Paul represents a threat to the establishment, and all these smear campaigns (racism or homophobia) are directed towards him as a result.

    i am defending his character

  • @DJKAYZEE Very good point.. I think what it comes down to if you're going to bother voting and Paul gets the nomination is what's more important.. Dismantling the military industrial complex or having a guy who pretends to appease people with socialist ideals.

    Tough one really.

  • @DJKAYZEE Please.. I am not trying to be rude... but be real. Ron Paul is just another politician. Just because he is going against the tide, doesn't make him right. His main focus is to balance the national checkbook which will destroy the little programs that we have available in this country. He doesn't know that the budget will never be balanced and it cannot be balanced because it's a sham! He will be as effective as Bush and Obama... not very effective.

  • @Josephjoel3 Thank you for your comments. I've been trying to explain the same things to those around me falling for Ron Paul's rhetoric just like they did for Obama's. It is amazing how few people have even taken a look at his campaign site and considered critically what it would mean if all of his plans were put into effect.

  • @Josephjoel3 yo. i am voting for ron paul. i love the ideas of ZM and TVP but i mean come on man at least with Ron Paul we'll be taking a step in a better direction than any of the other puppets. the guy is incorruptible. he is not just another politician. bush obama? are you kidding me? not even in the same ballpark. ZM, TVP, you, me are all benefiting from the ideas of the founding fathers of this country. Ron Paul is as close to them than we have seen in a long time. RP wont translate into

  • @1111BLAKE1111 the venus project but ill tell you one thing it ill make a transition to it a hell of a lot more conceivable that a status quo puppet. and not only that, i know jacque and peter speak that we will have to transition eventualy whether we like it or not but do you want to do it with leaders that continue the military industrial complex?

  • @1111BLAKE1111 I see where you are going with this. Ron Paul is promising to stem the tide of American military force so you think he would serve as a bridge to the peace TZM advocates. I gotta tell ya, promises are rarely kept and if there are carried out it is only to get something in return. Ron Pual is "different" I'll give you that one. But... you see... don't hope for anything radical. TZM is a threat to everyone because it is the end of how everyone has known and done things.

  • @Josephjoel3 i agree that ron paul is promising to stem the tide of american military. as far as a direct bridge to resource based economy? maybe not but in the most extreme sense maybe a slight leaning or posibility towards it rather than eletist who would love 2 eliminate that possibility. i am not hoping for anything radical, tho paul is pretty radical compared to the establishment. i think we are on the same side of things just have different proportional perspectives.hope makes sense eheh

  • @1111BLAKE1111 I feel the same way. As someone who understands the ideas of the TZM, making the transition is the hardest part. I do not agree with all of Ron Paul's ideas since I realize the monetary system is intrinsically flawed. The Federal reserve is the root cause of many problems within our current government. Ron Paul is not a 'puppet'. Not only would he be a step in the right direction, he would be a giant leap in the right direction!

  • @SUBtRONiX213 right on. didn't mean to infer he was a puppet.

  • @SUBtRONiX213 When will all you Ron Paul fanatics understand that he is ALL FOR THE WEALTHY AND FOR CORPORATIONS!!! JUST LOOK AT ALL OF HIS AGENDAS, NOT JUST THE ONE RE THE FED!!! PLEASE, DO THIS, BEFORE CONTINUING TO ADVOCATE HIM!!!!!

  • @igspal I am not a fanatic. I do not agree with everything Ron Paul says. He has, however, proven himself to be incorruptible. He is the only candidate against SOPA and NDAA. While I do not believe in 'the monetary system', at least he wants to end the FED which is the root cause of all the atrocities in this world. Who should I vote for, Rick Santorum??? I don't fuckin think so. I would vote for Peter Joseph! Point is Ron Paul is the only sane choice.

  • @SUBtRONiX213 With all due respect, The Fed ISN'T the root cause of all the atrocities, MONEY IS (The Fed, having been LEGALLY SECRETIVE all these years, is what has allowed that institution to become what it has)! In any case, RALPH NADER would be the ONLY existing politician who'd be GREAT for the transition into a RBE...

  • @igspal Okay. Ron Paul is running in 2012. Is Ralph Nader?

Also: "the Khmer Rouge has changed from the austere Maoists who abolished money and murdered anyone who had the remotest connection to capitalism."

I'm pretty sure the problem is scarcity. Even if money is phased out (for abolishing it would require government, or force), IF the Zeitgeist Movement cannot produce enough food for everyone, it won't work: this is merely an observation, not a point of denigration or a cynical jab.

  • @amamerc You obviously haven't done enough research into a Resource Based Economy, or you'd KNOW that there WOULD BE enough food for everyone...and even better, all the food would be ORGANIC, AND FREE FROM CORPORATIONS' PROFIT-DRIVEN, POISONING OF OUR WHOLE FOOD SUPPLY, and in turn, F!@#ING-UP OF OUR HEALTH (which has been a MAJOR REASON for most of the so-called "lazy" people on S.S.D., welfare, etc.)!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @igspal "However, people do not ask for socialism because they know that socialism will improve their conditions, and they do not reject capitalism because they know that it is a system prejudicial to their interests. They are socialists because they believe that socialism will improve their conditions, and they hate capitalism because they believe that it harms them."

While socialism has nothing to do with RBE, the same can be said about RBE: you believe it will work.

  • @igspal There's nothing wrong with believing that RBE will work. Quite frankly, I'm not going to believe in something simply because of words. However, do I hope RBE can work. Remember: RBE has yet to prove itself. Do not pretend that simply because it sounds like nothing you've ever heard before that it will succeed: but I do hope something like it can eventually emerge.

  • @amamerc Do you know of any better type of economy (past OR proposed for our future), than what is proposed by a Resource Based Economy? Has ANY other "proven" itself to work (I mean, ETHICALLY AND FOR EVERYONE)? (Think about this; a resource based economy is STRAIGHT FOWARD...it would run SOLELY by the laws of NATURE AND THE MOST WELL-RESEARCHED TECHNOLOGY/SCIENCE,

  • @amamerc [cont'd] ...and if ANYONE IN THE WORLD ever had any doubt of any of the scientific conclusions being used, then he/she would be VERY WELCOMED into proving his/her OWN conclusions, since in a RBE, THEE ONLY AGENDA, would be to ensure that EVERYONE lives LONG AND STRESS-FREE LIVES (the TOTAL OPPOSITE of what OUR CURRENT, AND PAST, WORLD ENSURES)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @igspal Okay. I'm aware of all of that. I recommend you try not writing with too many capital letters, because it's not conducive to garnering your movement credibility. And for the record, I have nothing against RBE, but at this stage in development, it still remains theoretical.

  • @SUBtRONiX213 (cont'd) ...Nader, by wanting FAIR taxation (by taxing the rich MORE, and taxing the middleclass/poor LESS), WOULD BE FAIR at this point in time...Ron Paul, by just wanting The Fed to not exist, DOESN'T UNDO THE DAMAGE THAT'S BEEN DONE TO THE MIDDLECLASS/POOR!!! Again, HE IS ONLY FOR THE WEALTHY AND CORPORATIONS!!!!!

  • @DJKAYZEE exactly

  • Nice picks on the RATM tracks PJ. RATM inspired me during my high school days too. Keep up the great work. I'll be doing my best over at ZeitNews and in the Tech Team in 2012. I hope everyone will get up off their asses and do something to affect change in the coming year.

  • 2012, the year of the beggining of change

  • Gotta go what we can to pop the bubble, people live in. Join your local chapter, share with friends and family, become educated, speak the truth fearlessly.

  • Thanks for inspiring so many people Peter

  • Thanks for your work Peter.

  • Fantastic! Absolutely fantastic. Please, please, please keep this going. SOPA needs to be stopped dead in it's tracks! Need to come up with some means to communicate if SOPA, excuse me WHEN SOPA goes into effect - if not to some extent already. I'm sure I'm on many, many databases - if that's the cost of liberty - take me!

  • Peter Joseph likes rage against the machine?!? My life is complete;)

  • "It's our job, as a species that's intelligent, to design a society that limits, systematically and logically, all the things that create the worst tendencies."

That sounds like something that, I think, he didn't mean it to sound like.

I'm looking for a society WITHOUT designed limits. The only limits are the laws of physics.

  • The NDAA bill is exactly what Peter described it as, a threat. We're not at the point were people are going to be kidnapped and held indefinitely, because there's just too many people now speaking out.

The SOPA bill definitely is the one to fear though. Tax protest websites, Occupy or TZM have real possibilities of being targeted.

  • I can tell you right now one full police dept in a town near me that every one but 3 women has a felony including the judge they all have there jobs (legal criminals)

  • RATM + PJ = Win

  • Thanks for these.

  • I noticed you took Anonymous's advice on not giving the resources based economy idea, a name or company behind the idea. Very smart! Anonymous is pretty much brilliant themselves. Their ideas are working for the very reason that there is no person or company behind their ideas. Very smart choice.

  • Always so good to hear a voice of sanity in this twisted and distorted world. Great show!

  • everyone its clear what the answer is to all this inbalance more capitalism... hahaha just kidding could you imagine

  • Peter the collapse is coming, we just have to be ready to offer the alternatives needed to save the planet and our societies. I think the vast majority of America is ready for a massive change, it just needs to be shown its options and people will pick correctly. Those that want to keep their advantages based on things like Race and Religion will be dismissed quickly. That is the new enlightenment... It is coming.

  • @dj4monie it's true, my mom just told me a lot of kmarts are closing, etc. can't wait^^

  • Thanks for the great radio show =)

  • the content is great as usual but the low frequency drone in the background is giving me a headache...maybe you could do something about it for future radio shows. Thanks

  • I am convinced that there will be a compounding shift in thought and logic in the near future. However that being said, I think this shift will occur through a relatively small number of people who seek counter-control, or a "global mind" or solidarity or whatever you may call it. It will spawn from an unavoidable medium that shows our interconnectedness (Think, map of universe, brain, internet) and an entire progressive collection of our romantic "human nature".

  • 14:30 "create" environment with free energy, free food? Where does the energy come form to get the "free" energy? Where does the energy come from to get the "free" food?

  • @theRevolutionof2012 LOL have you ever heard of...nvm lol

  • @theRevolutionof2012 The energy comes from the sun and earth (They don't ask for money).

  • @theRevolutionof2012 From the planet itself and the sun in the sky. The technology is available to not use not one oz of fossil fuel if we didn't want too. Hydroponics, Vermaponics, Aquaponics, even "Pee"ponics needs no chemicals (petro related), little water (1/3rd of in-ground food growth) and little space (can be done in a urban area) for not much money. Geo-Thermal Power can give everybody low cost/free energy once built, why does there need to be a profit model in everything???

  • Comment removed

  • @theRevolutionof2012 Nothing is ever "free".

Intelligent use of resources and technology makes it possible to have everything in abundance, hence making an "illusion" like everything is free.

  • @theRevolutionof2012 Free Energy is simply the mechanisms today which create energy passively without human intervention. Solar, Geothermal, Ocean wave energy.

  • we are not perfect. so true. so true

  • Peter,Creating tipping point for the next set of plans for a globally sustainable economy on a much more integrated large scale that is needed. Hundreds of millions will gladly make that temporary local switch investing whatever they could afford. It's not a war, fight or massive social unrest BUT create stability while further changes are made affording sustainability in these movements giving FREEDOM of TIME for those to be fully active in support of these changes and the education needed.

  • @moto2kx2 Economic forces will change a bunch. You will see a Banking Holiday in the next 12-24 months. You will likely see a Debt Holiday within that time frame as well. This MF Global thing is much bigger than people think and proves than even Rich people's money isn't safe inside the system. If you can buy Gold or Silver, even in a collapse you can be wealth on the back end, which creates a class system again, we need to stop it and reboot anew once this happens.

  • See Paul Freire's "Pedagogy of Oppression" for more pertaining to education and socialization.

  • Peter, By "using" I mean there are plenty with good hearts and intentions to take money out of politics and push for green energies and end the fed and bring back gold standard. IF ALL these areas are effected for change for the better than those in POWERFUL positions will have their hands full WHILE a global push of free information and education for a temporary self sustainable drive to end dependency on current system. The system then will not have enough supporting it to survive.

  • Peter, What do you think about using those in the political system those that support the ZM and OWS movements throw a monkey wrench into the systems that are ruining the planet and humanity while more in depth moves are made by ZM and OWS creating second economic system of sustainability flooding web with free plans and abilities for many many millions to grow their own food, provide all the energy they need for their homes, businesses etc.

All the tech exists. then the next steps are easier.

  • To utilize energy is to be.

To the extent that we utilize energy is the extent of our being.

Intelligence grows in this relationship between energy and being.

  • Nice outro song xd

  • The sound quality is a lot better

  • Peter I have only one question.

If we really dont have to live like this. How are we about to measure one's credit to society? We all have to work, even in the perfect world, we are made genetically to move and create, so how do we measure one's contribution to society, when one does want to take their contribution and take time off. We will never be able to lose units system/ system of measurement for one's contribution, or one's abuse (such as time off work, alcohol/relaxation, material pose.)

  • @EdoHDpro It's not measured, it's irrelevant. move on.

  • @andrewcnzz just trying to understand how the new world order intents to remove money and what will money be replaced with. How will we know what is one's value in society or credit to that value.

  • @EdoHDpro Measuring one's contribution to society is impossible and what's the point of measuring it? we just should contribute no need to measure it...

  • @GodEquals3 I am saying in reflection to serious goal of getting rid of the money.

How do you spread food between people? If we are all equal every thing is shared and what if one does not want to work, as it not feels that it should, as food is there, everything is given. There is no limit on what it can take or use. OR if there is limit, that means something is measured. Therefore we would need to replace money with another pointing units on which we could measure what belongs to who-to take.

  • @GodEquals3 We could measure one's contribution to society based on how much they improved other's people lives.

In today's society, we measure ones property. Money. This needs to be replaced with something. We cant just say everything belongs to everyone. As it does not work, society falls apart. As greed is still present, so human spices will always required to be measured.Just as we are measured right now, by our bank accounts. Just this time, based on good contribution:goodness gives credit!

  • @EdoHDpro Contribution to society is subjective, it can´t be mesured.

Today we DON'T reward with money based on how much they contribute to society and, once again, it´s impossible to do that.

We should possess almost nothing but have access to almost everything. A powerplant for example belongs to no one (works for everyone) a good, let's say, food (produced automaticaly) belongs to everyone, until someone consume it (possible with abundance).

  • @EdoHDpro Society don't falls apart, we adapt to the new system and have a completely diferent life with no worries and trully free, today only the rich are trully free and that's the problem, they are free to become more rich, they are free to spent money on stupid things that are only possible with others work, so lots of people are working for few like slaves(they have no other option).

  • @EdoHDpro they spend their money with interest to make more money, the more money you have the easy it is to make more money, then they spend part of the enourmous amounts of money they have on luxurious things and when they die the property passes to the familie where is the contribution to society? It´s a game of possessions.

Think outside the box, just because we are ofering a simple solution that it´s not discussed on politics or in the TV doesn´t mean it doesn't make sense or is impossible

  • @EdoHDpro The real people who move the world forward do it for their own personal interest and love for humanity. The only measurement is their personal achievement. People like you don't matter, If you want to fiddle yourself all day, feel free, no one will care. Take the free energy, housing, food and transport and enjoy it.

  • @andrewcnzz we are all real people. We all need food, space, air and water. Some of us want more water, more air, more space. How do we determine how much space of food or air belongs to one? do we just give and do not want nothing in return? If we contribute to improve life of society, by good deeds or any other value. How do we give value to one that wants to take that value back? How do we define value in working society.OR is new world order without work? without value? without contribution?

  • "There are no rules to war and the free market is a war system"

    Beautiful, powerful, true.

  • Right. No appeals to authority! Think for yourself. Know for yourself. Once you do that, then you'll be equipped to have the conversations that need to be had.
