I don't get it. Every picture that I see of this precious child makes me wonder how ANY mother could hurt a child. My heart hurts for this family, but mostly for Kelsey's father. Somebody said that while he was away fighting for this country, his baby girl was here fighting for her life. Lance, I hope this reaches you and I hope that you feel some comfort knowing that Kelsey is never again going to be in pain or cry. She is waiting for the day when she can see her daddy again.

Somebody needs to watch DSHS.I was put in foster care in Washington state and in the middle of the night awoke to the foster mother beating a foster child..because she got up to use the bathroom. WA state DSHS is a big disgusting joke.Later, my mother remarried a man and he had a daughter and he whipped her on the leg and it left a bruse so DSHS took her away to live with her mom and left me there thanks for protecting me DSHS don't know how you can sleep at night.

i know! i cant believe DHS didnt see that! i think her mum abused her too, because she was abused when it was just her and her mum, they should have taken her away. DHS knew she was being abused, but they didnt think it was so bad, but when she died they realised, oops! Kelsey Briggs really did need our help, and we let her down.
