  • im a zombie survival enthusiast, how well do these rifles rate as anti zombie?

  • @magnetmannenbannanen

They provide 200+ ft/lbs energy. Should be plenty.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • how are the restrictions on these, and how is the recoil?

  • @letterbekmen

Restrictions on these are the same as on other air rifles (depends on your city/state but most of the country is OK). Recoil is light compared to a .22.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • @pyramydair Hi I am from Croatian and I'm interested, where can I buy an air rifle, 50 caliber. I do you sell the Big Bore air guns from Sam Yang, if you sell I would have bought one so I am interested in going to such a submission.

  • @gumelini1

Follow the link under the video and you can place your order there.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Teamn

  • @letterbekmen

Recoil is light. No restrictions on airguns except for a few states (NJ, MI) and some cities: New York City, Philadelphia

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • Now i'm sorry if it's a stupid question, but would air guns like these be under the same restrictions as regular caliber ones in the EU?

  • So I take you guys are Pepsi men? lol

  • Too bad this isnt 495 fps

  • Where do you buy ammo for it?

  • @TheLincolnWorld

Follow the ammo link under on the air rifle page on our site to see a list of the .50 cal airgun pellets.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • @TheLincolnWorld

    We sell ammo in all calibers: .177, .20, .22., .25, 9mm, .45, and .50

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • Now do a test with Sarah Palin on the bench!

  • Who needs mentos? You do. Get a real gun!

  • @masckeiara air rifles are more powerful than most fierarms

  • @MrDip02 Where did you get that info?

  • @ListenToPeopleWhoKno they have videos of people killing buffalos with them

  • @MrDip02 How does a video make air rifles more powerful than firearms? Seriously where is the info that says air rifles are more pwoerful than firearms? I really would like to read it.

  • @ListenToPeopleWhoKno you're retarded you're just stupid there are air rifles that can kill buffalo

  • @ListenToPeopleWhoKno Stop being a retard already.... These air rifles are more powerful than SOME firearms. Firearms still hold the title for being the biggest and the baddest, but these large caliber air rifles and pistols deserve respect.

  • coke lovers everywhere now HATE you :-D nice vid :)

  • Noise level?

  • But I dont want a bigger hole...

  • fps or m/s?

  • @thejosh0205

It really depends on the weight of the ammo. 200 grain pellets would go as fast as 500 fps. Please follow the link under the video to see more detailed specs.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • i guess you dont like soda then.....

  • wich rifle is better the sam yang dragon claw .50 or this one, very nice video thanx...

  • @1973marulomos

The Dragon Slayer is currently NOT available for sale. Dragon Claw is a more powerful air rifle.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • haha 0:47 that is so what she said

  • Better name that gun as SODA SLAYER.

  • Maaw, can u get some more soda

  • I NEED MENTO'S!!!!!!!!!!

  • lol.....cock

  • all the cola!!! nooooo!!!! atleast no coca cola but still.

  • is this thing as powerfull as a bullet firing gun

  • Great! Some manufacturer finally had the balls to pick up where the Girandoni Air rifle left off! What is it's power and range? How does it compare to conventional firearms? Does it give off a loud report like a firearm. (I know there is no muzzle flash!)Great job, and don't be afraid to be innovative!

  • @LuvThoseLadies

The muzzle energy is about 150 ft/lbs. It's pretty loud (like .22lr). This particular model is currently off the market, but there are Sam Yang 909s in .45 and .50 available.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • @pyramydair Thank you for your information! Did someone actually take out a buffalo using it? With the .22 cal type report, that still seems like it would be difficult to pinpoint in a sniper situation. It seems like if someone could channel the air of a scuba tank 3200 psi into one of these the range and foot pounds would be more. I didn't ask before, is it single shot, or repeating?

  • @LuvThoseLadies

Not with this particular air rifle off the shelf but they are often modified. The major difference between the air rifles and firearms is that air rifles's effective distance even with the muzzle energy we are discussing is much shorter. Look at americanairgunhunter[dot]com web site to see some stories and what Jim Chapman has hunted with air rifles.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • they are a wast to the world of coke

  • love the shirt, but

  • This gun has been discontinued.

  • 1 how many fps 2 whats the ft lb and whats the power sorce is it co2

  • @RM85RID3R

This air rifle produces about 100 ft/lbs. It's powered by compressed air (3,000 PSI).

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • I love it when ppl waste food and drinks ...

  • imagine getting shot with that even if ur in a really thick jacket ololololl

  • @slayer55907 im assuming it would kill you....

  • SODA SLAUGHTER!!!!!

  • DeFranco*

  • am i the only one that notices philip defranko commented on thiis?

  • @ObamaOwnsYou XD u were until i clicked his username... im suprised at the fact he found this, let alone comment :D

    I salute you Philip

  • @ObamaOwnsYou thats not the real sxephil, he spelled it with an L instead of an I. go to his channel, it's different from the real one

  • Great Video 5/5

  • wait, is this .50 as in a real .50 cal gun? or do air rifles have different standards? sorry if i sound like a n00b im not really into air rifles

  • @sxephlI

Yes, it's a realy .50 cal airgun. Same standards and bore diameters as firearms.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • @pyramydair

ok but this does not have the same kinetic force as say something fired from a barrett .50 cal sniper rifle. i mean those things can tear through engine blocks- or take down helicopters. 5 coke cans does not an anti tank rifle make.

  • @sxephlI The pellet is .50 caliber but is lighter and has a much lower velocity than .50 BMG rifles

  • You have to more cola :P

  • i want one

  • who needs mentos... thoose who have real bad breath problems! xD

  • is tihis s2 plexor?

  • mabe i wanted to drink all that coke B(

  • how much cola did u go through

  • cock...sometimes you just want a bigger hole

  • @iponyou L.O.L.

  • :46 thats what she said

  • OH GOD!! THE WASTE THINK OF THE WASTE!! SO MUCH COLA GONNE WASTED!!

  • where can i get one of those, its amazing and i just gotta have one. any information on the rifle and the hand pump would be greatly appriciated. - thank you.

  • @sweetfeet666

This and other big bore air rifles can be purchased directly from our store. Please visit the link under the video.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • @pyramydair can i get a manual hand pump for this thing? also can i get ammo for it at any gun store that i have local?

  • @sweetfeet666

You need a pump that charges up to 3,000 PSI (a regular tire pump would not work) or a scuba tank. Please follow the link under the video to read up on it (there are articles, user reviews/comments, etc.)

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • can u give it to me for free ? :p

  • "sometimes you just want a bigger hole"...that's what she said

  • dam that thing is powerful

  • @drewnickel what's stupid is some law enforcement officer is willing to give a ticket or jail time to someone for an airgun instead of using common sense and enforcing only laws that are justified.

  • What a waste of coke...

  • 0:38 and so on

omg !!!! the bench is all wet

  • Coke slayer is more like it hahahah

  • I wonder why its called dragon slayer?

  • too expensive

  • whats the max. rang of this gun

  • nice gun man

  • What kind of back stop should be used with this rifle?

  • Any back stop that can hold up to 200 ft/lbs of muzzle energy would be appropriate to use with Career Dragon Slayer.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • I doubt a rim-fire backstop would even be suitable for this rifle. You would need a handgun backstop (used to stop .45 acp, .38 etc...)

  • god i wish that was legal in britain. you get 192 ft/lbs out of that and the max legal limit here is 12 ft/lbs. sometimes yanks just get it right.

  • Not only yanks, here in the Netherlands we dont have velocity restrictions, but we are not allowed to own airsoft guns and replicas because they look too real :S So we are allowed to have guns that can actually kill, but rifles which look like they could kill are forbidden :S They are crazy in this country im tellin ya

  • haha thats what you get for legalised cannabis. der nederlands are cool though.

  • Do the Americans have a limit? I heard there was none :o

  • i dunno. probably not, that would be stupid seeing as theyre allowed heavy machine guns.

  • There's no limit to airguns in the states, which is the way it should be. It makes it easy to get trigger time.

  • what a waste of soda

  • dude man wtf wat a waste of coke im so jealous i cant afford that Xd no one cares about the gun loool

  • you guys might get mad at me... but 0:01

  • @TinfoilGrillz LOL!!

  • @TinfoilGrillz LOL!!!!

  • dude, wtf! I would have drank that.

  • I need an air gun that will drop a goat or a pig at 100m (109.362 yards).

    Could this gun do it?

How much pellet drop there is at 100m? Could it shoot at such distances at all? I hear the velocity is low and the gun is designed to shoot at 50m. Is that true?

  • That's an extreme distance for air gun hunting. While you can shoot that far, taking an effective shot would be challenging. You can have aftermarket changes done that would achieve that. What's the size of the pig?

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • That is so full of win!

  • tom gaylord is the MAN! any question or interest, find him on pyramyd air.

  • what a waste of coke

  • @morts18 thats all coke is good for

  • @morts18 in fairness, it looks like a crap brand of coke...

  • that the quietest .50 cal i have ever heard....... airguns rock!

  • The career dragon doesn't require a background check..........

  • keep in mind the needle like penetration a pellet like that would have. using the heaviest pellets at like 8gr. for a .12 cal and the most powerful gun at 1500fps with that load it would have about the same weight to diameter ratio as a .50bmg round. but yeh, you were right about the over 4500fps crap, the fastest I can prove is like 2000 to 2300, and that's with pba in a modified ar6 which is a pcp capable of putting out 100fpe

  • a .22LR rimfire puts down more than twice that power in fpe.

    Pellet FTL

  • I know, about the 12cal since it has the same weight to diameter ratio, it'll fire through a 1/8th in. sheet of steel. a 50 cal is about 4 times the size and shoots twice as fast so that means a .12 cal gun has 1/8th the penetrating power of a

    .50bmg. a .22lr has about 1/10th to 1/16th the amount of penetration of a .50bmg

  • yeah, its the same as air rifles. that guy is blatantly lying

  • Cool video.

You should drink less soda anyway..

At least that is what my wife says.

  • Wow, what an idiot... Any .50 cal sniper rifle/MG doesn't even hit 4,000

  • .17 remington fireball when reloaded with a really hot powder can acchieve 4500fps but I don't see any way of going past that.

and about getting 9000fps, since blackpowder burns at 6,000fps. if you have a thick enough barrel you can use a small amount of nytroglycerin, which burns at 20,000fps. either that or tnt. tnt produces incredbly high velocities, take the grenade for example, when the tnt inside a grenade detonates it fires out chunks of steel at 20,000 fps

  • I knew you were going to mention the fireball to back up your statement. The fireball's round is a large concentration of powder to propel such a small round that achieving over 4,000 fps is completely possible. And my comment was only against air rifles reaching 9,000 fps... Which is nearly impossible. And you're insane if you think that they would ever use nitro-glycerin or trinitrotoluene in a cartridge.

  • lol yeah man, it's pretty much a waste of time even talking to him.

  • such a waste of POP!!!

  • lololol, walmart soda!

  • waste of cola

  • i just bought a walther Talon "Magnum" that does 1400-1450 with hyper velocity pellets and it in the video it didnt go through all of them usually the last 2 were still there but mine can go thru 6 and go into but not out of the 7th one and its only 130$ at big5

  • great, but you can't hunt big game with it

  • lol at first it just said "Cock" and i was like wait a sec...

  • rofl same

  • if this gun is pcp fill it full of nitrogen, expands more then air does so you will get a greater velosity

  • is this more powerful than a .50ae?

  • .50ae out of which gun? Either way, this air rifle is 150+ ftlbs, but you can probably expect at least 1000 ftlbs out of anything that shoots AE

  • The koreans aren't pushing the evelope enough. This gun could be 250 ft lbs, or at least 200 without much engineering.

why don't they increase the power? are they afraid of regulation attention? Big bore should be big bore. I dont see what the problem is.

  • if they want a .50cal gun and not an airgun then why don't they just buy a muzzelloader, a .500 smith and wesson magnum, or a 50bmg. all of those are more powerful than any airguns I've seen besides those massive pumpkin chunkers, which launch an 8lbs pumpkin at up to nearly 900mph, that's probably at least 20,000 foot pounds and technically it's still an airgun

  • well the dragon slayer is only $619 and you get a very, very high quality air gun. a good quality 50 cal. BMG rifle will run you over $1500, a high quality muzzle loader will run over $500, and the .500 Smith & Wesson pistols are cutting close to $2000, also air guns don't require a background check.

  • walmart suchs at selling modern firearms but they sell really good magnum muzzelloaders for $150. ones from brands like thompson center arms. and in canada airguns are not alowed over 12 foot pounds without a license and having it registered

  • @Pageyindahouse no it's about the same power as a .22

  • keep in mind, it's only shooting 500fps and still gets 200fpe, a .22lr has to shoot above 1400fps just to get to 160fpe.

plus this gun fires a bullet more than twice the size and more than 5 times heavier. if this gun fired at 1500fps or more, it would be on key with the action express. it would easily equal a .50cal muzzel loader

  • a .22 fires a bullet that is moving with more than 3 times the velocity of this gun. if a .22 bullet was heavier, it would easily equal a anti aircraft gun

  • hell no, learn ballistics. a .22 bullet weighs 40 grains or less and travels at speeds between 340fps for indoor practice, and 1800fps for serious varminting/hunting. a .22lr/.22 magnum will never top 350 foot pounds, let alone the massive 14,000 to 54,000 poot pounds that antiaircraft guns have. anti-aircraft guns normally fire between 650 and 3000 grain bullets at speeds between 2700 and 3800fps. a .22 will never be as powerful as an antiaircraft gun, type in .50bmg,20mm,or 30mm and you'll see

  • a .22 can go over 2000 fps that is faster than cannons! keep in mind it is only shooting a 40 grain bullet if the .22 was shooting a bullet as heavy as a cannon ball it would easily equal an artillery shell.

  • velocity doesn't matter if there's no weight, weight doesn't matter if there's no velocity, neither matter if it's not big enough to do efficient damage. if a .22 fired a bullet as heavy as a cannonball for one thing, black powder is strong stuff, but that nearly 10 pound cannonball will barely leave the barrel. second, if it managed to leave the barrel at decent velocity then it would probably kill you from the heart stopping recoil a cannon has. do some research, or just buy a freakin cannon

  • i guess you didn't pay attention in physics......

  • a cannon will have normally any where from 100 to 10,000lbs of recoil while a 12gauge 3-1/2" magnum shotgun with a slug only has like 70lbs of recoil

  • this airgun has 3 lbs of recoil while a bow and arrow have also 3 lbs wut u think about that huhh

  • technically, a bow doesn't have recoil, it's called vibration. a bow also has less killing power than the dragon slayer, some super bows I know are more powerful but I mean the average bow

  • no it does it is physics look most compound bows are more powerful than this u can kill elephants with bows you cant kill one with this bb gun

  • @drewnickel this is a pcp air rifle which are recoiless

  • mand that is sweet! But damn, unless its made in a 500fps form I can't get it here in Canada since you need a PAL,Otherwise you can only legally buy a 500fps absolute max. airgun without a PAL. Thats why I love the Crosman 150 & 2240 easily upgradeable to 650+ fps and its in .22cal , also one can easily make a custom barrel in a .25cal-9mm size and shoot fairly light grain bullet casts from it if tuned properly one could ge an easy 300fps with a 9mm and up to 450+ fps with a .25cal. 2240, 2250

  • The only unfortunate thing would be that ammo costs even more for this than some actual firearms'.

  • I know it is a pellet gun but big ass bb gun just sort of sounded better to me than a big ass pellet gun.

  • yeh, it fires ammo that's meant for .50caliber muzzelloaders, I'd go with a 12-gauge shotgun, it is 10x as powerful in energy, stopping power, and hunting

  • Thats one big ass bb gun

  • Its not a bb gun.

  • I understand that but big ass bb gun just sort of sounded better than big ass pellet gun.

  • Pellet gun.

  • well yea they make hunting shows on tv with people hunting wild boars with the .177 cal pellet gun. u just shoot it between the eyes

  • with the right shot, you could probably do it. People have hunted wild boars with this rifle.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • Could i take a Cow out with it?

  • you could take out the t-rex from jurrasic park with that pellet gun

  • not literally, this gun is meant for deer to ram sized game at the most. you could probably get lucky and kill a bison with it, but here's a tip, how bout save a good $600 and just by a .50cal muzzel loader or a .300-win mag. this is still considered a firarm so it's not a toy for hunting. it's a weapon for hunting

  • huh? a tip for who?

I already got plenty of firearms

  • that's good but the dragonslayer's a waist of money, it's $600 for something that's weaker, harder to reload, more expensive to reload, and more time consuming to load than normal firearms of about 1/4 the price

  • it's going so fast it glides through anything it hits so a skull is no prob but it won't do more than make it bleed with a body shot. also I put a tiny ammount of black powder in the chamber so it's not as loud as a real gun but as strong as maybe a .17 rem fireball but I cant afford a gun that can handel the explosion

  • okay the .500 magnum your definately right about but who wants a gun that'll break your hands. sure the compensator helps but I can't handle a 500 magnum I can barely handel a .44.

also a 7mm has like 20lbs of recoil so the 7 gauge air rifle has almost non. your right about the 12 cal being weak with hole size but the energy produced almost equals a centerfire so. i'll just shut up about the 12 cal cause it can only take deer with head shots so it's point less to argue

  • I can shoot a 44 mag and 45\70 with 1 hand. Girls shoot the .500 SW mag no problem, as long as you know how to hold it.

A .12cal pellet cannot reach the same energy as a center fire rifle. It's impossible, unless you're talking about a rail gun....

    Bottom line -

NO and I mean "NO" air rifle can put down the kind of energy that a large caliber center fire rifle can.

    177. .22, .50 air rifles are neat - but if you want something for big game in North America or Africa you need a real rifle.

  • as far as knock down power an 87 cal can put out 237. 250 is needed to CLEANLY kill an elephant. 270 or 7mm are powerful but only put out 90 which is enough for moose. also I have tricks for the pellet reaching that energy without being a firearm. and I'm designing a 175 cal airgun capable of 1500fps with a golf ball and a knock down power of 860 using high pressure nitrogen

  • What the hell are you talking about with knock down power? Ballistics are measured in energy generally, there's TKO (Taylor knock out.... maybe this is what your speaking of?

Do you mean .175 cal airgun? Because that's tiny...

Oh and a 270 and a 7mm rem mag are WAAAAAAYYY different..... 7mm rem MAGNUM hits much harder than a .270 Winchester... a .270 WSM hits similarly to a 7mm rem mag, but still not as hard. 7mm rem mag is about 23.43 TKOF.

What grain projectile are you using?

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • lol I'll believe it when I see it.... because it's NO WHERE on the internet. At all.

You actually expect anyone to believe an air rifle shoots a 32 grain pellet at 9000fps?

You and your air rifle that shoots a projectile at MACH 8!!!!! YES MACH 8!!!!! need to stop watching so much sci-fi channel....

The fastest centerfire rifle cartridge you can buy is less than 1/2 what your claiming an air rifle can do. BS!

  • Comment removed

  • maybe 900 but not 9000. that is a load of crap. your talking almost 2 miles a sec dumbass. Hell, even a Barrett .338 Lapua magnum round cant eavent hit those speeds

  • that was based on theory which I found absolutely false, I now know pba can't even reach 3000fps, let alone 9000

  • The fastest custom big bore rifle I can find is 900fps.

10x less than what you stated.

  • some girandoni rifles which are the only military airguns could reach 1000fps with a 180gr. lead ball and think about it. most pcp's are rated to 2000-3000psi nitrogen moves faster at lower pressures and is better for pcps than co2 and hpa. also my nitrogen tanks are rated to 5000psi with a 0.001 second release time meaning that ball will soar at mach1 or more providing 800-2000fpe with a 664gr. golf ball which is 175 cal

  • First off they were made in the late 1700's.

Second of all they were around 400-600fps not 1000fps and didn't shoot anything larger than 100 grains.

.17 Remington hand loads don't break mach 4, let alone mach 8... and that's a 20 or less grain bullet.

    So, lemmie get this straight....

You need a massively pressurized tank to shoot a GOLF BALL that weighs 5x the amount of a bullet with 1/3 the energy? LOL

    FAIL.

  • the golfball cannon is capable of 1300fps with a 664gr. golfball so considering the size of the bullet or ball being 175 cal. less energy is needed to kill the target aslong as the ball peirces the skin and damages organs

  • You can drop a cannon ball on a deers head and kill it too. With acceleration of 9.8m\s2 Im sure it'll kill without puncturing the skin.

I'll believe your super golf ball cannon story when I see a video. .500 SW shoots a 700 grain bullet at 1900ft\sec and hits with around 2000lbs\ft of energy at the muzzle. Your air cannon won't see 2000lbs\ft or even close. It's a potato gun for all intensive purposes. Can it kill stuff? Maybe, but who the hell cares it's retardedly unpractical.

  • I've seen pellet guns chrono'd at over 1400fps using pba pellets.... I don't think by any means that a pellet can go 4400fps that's bullshit, that's faster than the .17 remington centerfire....

  • waste of soda?

  • waste of soda? WTF?

  • no liscense needed to shoot rite?

  • A few exceptions in the USA are: NY city and 5 borroughs, NJ, Washington DC, Chicago, a few other cities
