They are observers. When it's an iccup match on bnet as opposed to a pro match, people just watch from their computer. There's 4 observer slots, but if two more people play Terran and hide all their stuff in the corner they can observe too.

Having 300apm DOES MEAN you're a pro player, if you scan it with bwchart and it says ur average apm is 300 then ur pro, period. Dont give a fuck about spam, u can't spam thru out a whole 30minute game, noobs only spam in the first 3 minutes to get 400apm, if u consistently have 300apm in a long game then ur pro end of discussion. No way you can spam 300apm over a time span of 30minutes and still suck shit.

This is because Lost Temple is a four player map and we clearly have eight players in game. Four of the observers can take the four available observer slots and two have to lift and fly. If the game was played today they would have to do exactly the same thing.

Well not really, we still play on 4 plyer maps. However, nowadays we dont use SIX observers (!?!?). There is usually 2 refs and 2 observers or something. Not like 6 is needed at all.

I enjoyed your VOD, but the build the Protoss player started to do is called 1 Gate Fast Obs, and it is really common. Singulary Charge and a few Goons from your first gate is required to hold off early pushes. Thought i'd throw my 2 cents in.
