u could have moved up in the fight and pushed Katt out of the way u would have been hit then u katt and rand would have fought augus it would have been easer
life is a really good item, it heals you and it gives you all your ability points, which when you have good spells, is really really good to have. That's why it costs so much.
Actually, if you push Katt out of the poison darts way she'll fight as well, making it a battle of 3 people. Also, If I remember right taking a nap in the inn saves you the need to shell out for a life potion.

Wake is a physical attack that does a small amount of damage to wake up a sleeping person.
But for some reason, it ALWAYS does a critical when I use it, killing the target.

Yeah, Augus is really hard with just two characters, although it's a tad easier when your levels are a little higher.
