How about genius Ukrainian composer of classical era Maksym Berezovsky? After V. A. Mozart, Berezovsky was the second composer-foreigner, whose memory is honored on the memorial plaque of the Bologna Academy.
I like the "Surprise Symphony". I learned it in music class when I was younger. The music teacher told us that to some people, it might sound something like "Tiptoe, tiptoe, tiptoe, look...tiptoe, tiptoe, tiptoe look...tiptoe, tiptoe, tiptoe, look...tiptoe, tiptoe, look....Surprise!" xD
@youmustpay he is in the fifth part of these videos, also there is 20 videos about history of music by myhistoryofmusic. check them out, all are awesome.
@susumu07 Christoph Willibald Gluck's middle name is funny, too. Who gives a kid "Willibald" as a middle name? xD And--my favorite--"Julius Fuick" is a curiosity. Look at the last name and see why.
At this moment I just began to enjoy this wonderful work. I'm really thanksfull for the chance to get access to such a beautiful work. Thanks so much, God bless you.
Pretty good stuff. I prefer Mid-Late Baroque best though but the transition is pretty nice early on. Thanks for all the videos.
