you go to school 5 days a week huh is that "real time" haha? You didn't tell them that when they get to the finals department that you will have to give up your life cause its very competitive to get a job after school.
Sure Full Sail is great. It's the student loans that will get you (through Sallie Mae). I graduated 08 from Recording Arts and I currently pay half a grand a month. UNTIL I'M 40. So unless you're rich, or have parents that coddle you, I would reccomend communtiy college.
You must have graduated before it was a university. I'll be paying double that, however, I'll have a bachelors in science, and with luck, a great career. Community college wouldn't give you the education I'm getting here. Maybe for recording arts, but not for game design. Yes, it's an expensive college, and anyone who graduates from college will be paying back loans until they retire. I have faith in my education, and I feel education is the best investment.

let me ask you this, if I went to community college(which I am) and got my basics out of the way, depending on what classes I have and if there transferable, would I be able to just go straight in and take the classes in the field I want to go and not pay as much(as far as the classes that I already have taken care of)

I see this video is several months old. What are you thinking about you Full Sail experience so far? I've been wanting to go here for around 10 years, but recently I started doing a little more research and I'm finding a lot of horror stories about that place.
yep, this video is 8 months old. I still like it, but it's not for everyone. I'm in one of the hardest degree programs here. I get the same questions all the time regarding the "horror stories", "is it worth it", and "how much is it"... honestly, most of the horror stories I found while researching before I came, where from the slackers that never graduated.
Yeah, I kinda figured that might be an element to consider. Because FS will take anyone with money, they're bound to have a significantly higher ratio of slackers to dedicated students. What degree are you there for? Personally, I think I may just try to hunt for an internship on my own, as it seems that that's what most of the RA students end up doing when they graduate.
I've heard that this school takes alot out of you! Is it really that bad? I'm in highschool but our school has high academic standards so I might be good.Lol!
I start classes on August 26 this video is extremely helpful. So the school helps pay for your living expenses?? I am sort of confused when you start talking about that at 7:00. Can you explain that better?

OMG, would you believe this is the first time I've seen this comment, SORRY SO LATE.... I'm in the computer animation degree BA. My other credits would help me graduate faster but, not all are transferable and I didn't test out of any....but situation, experiences, and results may vary.
