Why would it be stupidity to pick DeRozan for the GSW?

Simple: Stephen Jackson, Jamal Crawford and even Monta can easily slide to the 2 guard.

DeRozan doesn't play SF well enough and even there GSW has ample at that position.

With Baron's departure, the Warriors NEED a floor general and a point guard who can run and lead the offence...not an undersized SG or a shoot first player; Golden State has enough shooters who want touches.

Couldn't disagree more.

They have a log jam between their SG to SF positions with no real PG to run the offence. Also their system is designed purely on offence when its defence that wins and no solid post option. The Warriors aren't going to be great anytime soon.

You want to see a well run franchise, then look at Portland. GSW is running a team to be fun and circus-like not to be winners.

I guess they can flip someone for a big man, but they should have taken Jordan Hill. Steph Curry wanted to play for the Knicks, and they wanted him too. But Nelson had to take a player who did not want to play for them. Some organizations will never win not because of talent, but because the people who run it are too pig headed to get people who want to be there, not just who they personally want.

Theres a reason the GSW missed the playoffs for 13 years.
