  • you added this vid on ny b-day in 2008!

  • I really want to get the nokota mould, the only problem is that when I do find one, it's always Isadora Cruce, and I've only seen 1 picture of Isadora and it was from her side, and I didnt like it from that side. But I dont know what she's like at other angles. So yeah, right pain. Guess in a situation like that you'll just have to buy it, see if you like it. If not customize or sell, but I love the mould, I just cant see Isadora enough.

  • My Cheveyo has those flaws.

  • dear cinnamonmewmew, i have just baught cheveyo today, and i think he is gorgous, ur review has helped so much! :D

  • ok, CimmonMewMew!!!! I really want the song towards the end whats it called???

  • i just got nokota like 3 days ago! i wasnt planning on getting him but i saw him in a tackstore and i loved him! i don't know what a 2007 limited editiion is doing in a tackshop NIB in 2011 but whatever! good news for me!!! lol i named mine Ash Wood

  • If you have seen Natures cloud challenge of the stallions or clouds legasy, you can make Chevayo or what ever his name is Cloud, And Nokota clouds mare Sitca. You are lucky you have them. I want them so bad.

  • OMG I THOUGHT THIS MOLD WERE MARES CAUSE I HAVE ISADORA CRUCE AND SHES A MARE OPPS :)

  • @breyerhorsefly Actually, Isadora Cruce is a stallion. :)

  • @dmenkhau Actually I just got Isadora Cruce and it is a mare. There are no stallion parts ;)

  • @PalominoMare20 Oh, okay :) Thank you :D

  • @dmenkhau Last time I checked, Isadora Cruce lacked a penis.

  • @dmenkhau

no shes a mare they altered the mould i think cus mine aint got stallion parts

  • with cheveyo isn't supposed to kinda look like that?

just an idea... not meaning to be rude or anything...

  • arnt you a customer why dont you paint him :P

  • I have a hotshot and he came with a small dot of just white, near his left front leg, do you know what happened there? :)

  • I will tell you if your Cheyvo is 'off' colour etc... Soon, when he comes soon.

  • im getting the nokota horse at breyerfest next year!!!!!!!!!!!yay!!8D

  • that is my favorit mold, but I dont even have that mold...YET!

  • I love that mould and will hopefully get it for my birthday- 13th September. But, I really don't know which one to get! I love greys, but Cheyvo is really pretty aswell. Also, I like the way that Nokota has battle Scars. So, I really don't know who to get!

Also, there is no Breyer shop near me either. The UK needs a few Breyer shops.

  • loved ur review!

  • Nakota's coloring isn't bad because his markings are the same as a lesson pony at the barn I bord my horse at. And I was also was disappointed at the paint jod on cheveyo but I love him anyway!!

  • a bad thing about this mold is if they fall from rearing fasta nd hard the front leg will break

  • are they up for trade

  • ERM is that your voice? it doesnt sound like you lol

  • hey i think today im going to get the new model isadora cruce, she looks just like nakota just different colors!!! IM YOUR BIGGEST FAN!!!

  • you should get um isadora cruce because she is a real replica of a stallion like nakota and chevyo so you should get her because well she is in the same mold of nakota and chevyo, im going to get isadora cruce but i have to pay for her.

  • Where do you get the Breyers? I too live where there are no near suppliers(UK)

  • Chevio (I don't know how to spell his name) looks bigger than Nokota.

  • reckon that horse was actually meant to be doing a sharp turn. Thus his forelegs are up off the ground to turn around and his head is facing the way he's turning. This also explains the positions of his mane and tail... going around in his circle, his tail looks as if it's being blown forwards because he's whipping it around to his other side as he turns, and his mane looks swept back and curved because he's bringing his head down and around quickly...

  • no offense cheveyo is pretty crappy again no offense

  • I have the same prob. All I have near me is two tack shops that carry bout 4 Breyers each. And it's a fight tooth and nail to even get my folks to let me spend MY money on one! Oh well. This was very helpful though! I've always loved this mold, but ur vid makes me want 2 buy every Nokota mold horse in existence! :O

  • thise arnt battle scars, he's a blue raon, those are his markings

  • @breyerbabe99

I assure you, some of the markings are based on the battle scarring on the real horse they based the model on.

  • i might get nakota\

  • I got cheveyo the other day and my model has may of those some problems, but I was also very sorry to find out the he has several poorly looking seams on his mane and ears. Oh well, what are you gonna do.

  • wow... the cheveyo had some bad problems... sry bout that...

  • Hey cinnamonmewmew, you should do a drastic customization on one of the models on the Nakota mold! I bet it would look great! Just suggesting ^_^

  • Hey you know i had a realistic horse like that when i was little, and broke his rear leg. I cried for a long time and couldnt fix him. He was brown and black. I wonder if anybody knows where hes from. Or even what hes about.

  • Why dont you customize your Cheveyo? If he has factory flaws, you cant take him to live shows and stuff.

  • I WANT NOKOTA SO BADDLY!!!!!!!!!!!saddly i cant afford him.:(

  • you should do more revies!!!this is so helpfull to me!!!!!!!!!:D

  • actually if you really think about it ,the tail on Nakota is very realistic. If you imagine in your head a horse turning sharply like that his tail would be going in that direction,or if they were modeling him as if there was wind when he was turning. just saying but you have really nice horses

  • what i mean is mine is not as red as yours =]

  • my cheveyo isent as red as yours is by the points

  • chyveyo is GORGEOUS! but i think palomino's always are! :-P

  • Erm, Cheveyo is a Dunalino. He has the primitive barring on the legs, so he can't technically be a palomino. Just thought I'd let you know because if you needed to specify his colour for a photoshow, or a live show, if you labeled him a "Palomino" then you wouldn't place =]

It's a rare form of dun, that has some Palomino colouring, thus the name Dunalino.

    ^_^

  • I LOVE NAKOTA I GOT HIM A LITTLE OVER A MONTH AGO!!!!!! HES GORGEOUS! I was very lucky to get him brand new!:D

  • i got cheveyo 2 days ago :D

  • for some reason the angle you had the camera at made chyveyo look bigger (wider) than nakota LOL

  • it is said that he is on a sharp turn so his tail turns

  • idk I was gona get him... But my breyers can never be kept in good condition... even if they are on the shelf... ¬.¬

  • is nokota a small traditional because people say hes quite small

  • No he's not that small, he's short, but he's not really smaller besides how tall he is.

  • seesh breyer should be more careful with the products Chevyo really looked bad when you got him up close

  • i guess they have a hard time getting the original color of the collector's choice entries

  • Should I bye Nakota or a limeted to 7,500 pieces, or Zips choclete chip? hmmm

  • Oops didnt read the description XD

  • hes not galloping when hes down. Hes turning lol

  • ZeldeyZeZebara i think you should leave her alone i have been collecting breyers for yrars now mabey its the same forc.m.m ya tende to no alot of things about breyers and how the comformation works and if the colour is correct

i may not show mine but i thibk that she enjoys what she does so go and get a life she sells well made tack as well so leave people alone that you dont appreciate get it into that big head of yrs

  • It's ZeldyZeZeBRA and my comment was in regards to AmericatStudios who apparently didn't realize that Mew was talking about LIVE SHOW QUALITY models.

  • That's what the freak I SAID. God is it too much to ask that you actually READ the comments?!

  • Please excuse my language in my previous comment. I really didn't mean to make that sound in a bad way or anything.... =( I was in a bad mood that day becausemy grandparents are moving away from me, so I sort of took my anger out on you. I'm sorry. Please forgive my mistake. I really hate being in fights with people. Can we be friends? =)

  • I beg your pardon? There is no need for language like that. This is a review, and were talking LSQ standards here. if you were involved in the adult world of live showing, then you would now how tough standards are.

Exactly, nothing is perfect, which is why showing is great because there is no absolute flawless model, and opinions vary. Different horses win all the time.

It's all about correctness of conformation compared to the real horse and condition of the model (In OF class anyway)

  • are u ok ?? that was horrible what he/she said 2 you! :( u ok

  • @CinnamonMewMew I Agree With You, I Think They Should Work On The Blue Roan

  • Excuse me? but I'm thinking you should go away, you're obviously not educated in the ways of the model horse hobby, which stretches beyond what you think.

  • your NOT nice to her i bet u couldn't do better breyer movies!! shes awesome so SHUT UP! ( ZeldyZeZebra )

  • She is not. This is review! I bet you that she is greatful. CinnamonMewMew is one of the nicest people I have met here on youtube! You dont know anything about showing!

  • like you actually know anything. It's good that CMM is putting things like this up, it helps use decide what breyers are good to buy and what not, and if they'd be good enough to show or whatever.

  • @AmericatStudios no i belive u are the bitch werido its ok to wish every thing was perfect on ur breyer!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I DO! FAT ASS!!

  • Nope. I take my filming very seriously, and the models used in most of the videos are "body quality" or "Stunt doubles".

    This a REVIEW.

"Playing" is not the correct term, as I plan out scrips for my series, plan camera angles etc...

Does Tim Burton "PLAY" with dolls? No, he makes film with moving them and making them talk. Which is what I do.

  • @ThePeaceKeeperWolf maybe people find it fun and like doing stuff with there models

  • I really liked this,

I know you don't always have the most time, but you should make more reviews.

    =]

  • your dreamchatcher looks similar to moon warrior, but dreamchatcher is better.

  • you should do more reviews. it makes horse model collectors on what to really look for.

  • wow i'v never noticed that .hmmmm

thats kinda weird.now im kinda disapointed in Breyer.sorry about ur chevayo

  • I always thought that when the Nakota mold was standing, it looked more like a fearsome pivot on the right hind foot, as if he were wheeling around to face anoher stallion or a human.

  • lol One of my breyers has a LOT of factory flaws AND the blanket he had actually bled into his coat. But I refused to take him back! XD

I don't ever show, so it wasn't a big issue... He is actually in my stopmotion. :)

  • Nakota is a Traditional??? I thought he was a Classic... lol

  • :/

no, your not really missing out!

there aren'tany breyers that are ONLY available in the US!!!

it's just like breyerfest and Special runs that are only available in the us:)

  • I never looked that close to my breyers. I am going to check them out!

  • I am very lucky i live near the utterly horses shop so i can go and pick my models by hand as well as acess to customised and one off models that people sell to the shop!

  • target and walmart have breyers

  • sweat ive never seen that kind of breyer before

  • you no i said i was gettin cheveyo.........

yea i got him he is so cool!!!lol!!

but like yours mine has patches missing on the back of the hooves

and as soon as i got him out the box my mum thought i had played with him coz he had white bits on the tips of his hooves and like u i didnt like that!!!

  • yeah, mine too!

(athough mine is covered in rubs, literally!!!)

  • I thought I'd been playing with my Cheveyo too much, but then I realized I barely ever bump him into anything, and now watching this, I realize, Breyer did a bad job on our Cheveyos...

  • i know i got him this morning and the back of his legs are all white (like CinnamonMewMew showed on hers)

  • I have a question.......my Cheveyo is almost not shaded....and his dorsal stripe is very thin........I feel lucky cuz it's one of the weird variations, but.........is this at all common??? lol.

  • cool! i have Cheveyo! and i loved hte vid

  • awesome vid!! i watched the whole 9 mins & 50 secs :]

its a shame bout chevoyo (i cant spell his name)- ive had breyers like that and it's very dispointing!

like you i have no stores near me stocking them so i cant hand pick them either :(

  • Oh yeah, great video! You should make more Breyer//model horse reviews¬!!!!

  • I really want Nokota!

My little sister's Cheveyo is just like yours, yours isn't just a one off! He has grey on the hair above his hooves and a white patch on his neck! But she does sometimes play with her horses soo...yeah, I guess. I really want Nokota!!

  • i do have to say, alot of my models came with hoof-rubs or flaws as weelll..... breyer are kinda lowering the standards as they mass-produce more and more..... it is diapointing but hey......

i did infact sen a letter to them pointing this out... that was months ago.... i have not had a reply. Also, the saddles and riders breakeasily! its like, im not a rough person with my breyers but one of my saddle's girths has snappesd ohhh, at least 3 times...... thy have no shape ti the tree etc....

  • i buy from scale farm and happyhappy sue also from utterly horses

  • hey me and my friend buy breyers off two of those3 sights aswell!!!

i got fox valley oliver and bluegrass bandit off scale farm and i might be getting either of: nokota, cheveyo or smart chic oleana!!!!

my friend got smart chic oleana and blue grass bandit fromutterly horses!!

  • cool all my breyers are from there as well =D

  • i have him he was my first ever breyer and i love him sooooooooo much but he is scratching to eisily ! ! ! :(

  • um can you plase because i must leaen about breyer horse so i can show plz plz plz help

  • omg i cheeked mine and it happened to me too it the same thing happened to mine

  • whats factory flaws? I thought they hand painted them?

  • you should customize chevayo

  • i live in north dakota , where the nakota horses are known & developed. they are beautiful and each one is so nicely colored! they look almost identical to the nakota breyers! i bought cheveyo, but looking for nakota in the stores.

thanks for making the vid x

  • Woah! Ive only seen 2 nakota's in stores. Im lucky enough to get Chevveo, becuase there were like, NONE LEFT! D: Now, Im trying to get my hands on a Nakota, if im lucky! Great video! x

  • this is why i buy schlecih horses, they may e a lot smaller than the modles you were showing they are hand painted, but very expansive :( love your vid anyway! x

  • I'm over the moon! I went to tkmaxx and bought nakota! yey!

  • I'm the sister of lapstudios(i dont have my own account)I live in wales aswel(I live in the south in Pembroke it rains almost all the time-_-)I saw the video of your breyers where do you get them from?

  • Generally:

    Happyhappyhorses . com

    and

    Scalefarm . com

  • that sure helps coz as I live in england it is very rare that they sell breyer anywere. 5*

  • Interesting! I never knew about the shows until recently. I have many Breyers from when I was a girl. Mine are classics from the 1960's - 1980's. I started collecting when a local library gave them to me when the owner never come back to claim them after displaying them at the library. Can you imagine? I've not collected since the mid 1980's (I know, ancient!), and my horses are tucked safely away in boxes. I used to make leather saddles and bridles for them from scrap. Wish I had kept some!

  • Wow, that was a spot of luck. I adore the vintage Breyers, especially the vintage "Fighting stallion".

  • im getting nokota hes coming tuesday

  • I LOVE CHEVEYO!! i got him in the mail today and i was very excited!! i love him!!

  • I luv this video! Great job! I know what U mean with hand picking them when U can, I always try to, and it always annoys me when I hav a great horse, with great shading, but those minor factory flaws just annoy me!! Well, it doesn't help that Breyer now makes/paints all their horses in china! (until a few years ago, they were made in the U.S.)

  • Mmm, indeed. Paint jobs are getting better in general, but the paint is far more metallic, and are more prone to "factory flaws".

  • Exactly!!!! They R A LOT more metallic looking than they were B4!!!! Can't wait to see more breyer reviews!!!! :)

  • Hey no problem! I thought your accent sounded like Engalnd/Wales! wow I cannot belive I got it right!

  • Hey1 I love your videos! Where are you from? I love your accent! Oh and my Chevayo's face was only sprayed from the front, mine has shading above the eyes and on his lip, his mane also is not shaded, his hooves are not oversprayed with grey, so he was acctually in very good condition! Thanks for the review! great vids

  • Thank you. dearly for your comment. It's nice to know that they aren't all like mine. As I stated in my video; Mine must have been a "one off".

I have a fairly high pitched voice, making me appear a fair amount younger than I actually am. I used to live in England, but them me any my family moved to Wales; currently in Swansea (Not a very nice place to be quite honest, I want to move back to England once I've completed my education).

  • Also in case you missed this on your last video:

Actually the reason why is mane is going backwards and the tail sweeping forward is due to the fact, he isn't galloping straight but digging into a sharp turn.

No model is perfect. I see very small flaws. As seen in Nokota, in some of your customs. They are beautiful by the way.

  • Yes, you are absolutely correct. No model is perfect; whether it may be conformation, colour, or gait.

  • Of course. it would deffiany be a dream for a perfectly accurate model. Although Alborozo seems to be doing a very good job of winning me over. Still need to search ebay for him.

  • The reason behind that is in fact that he is actually moulded from an accurate traditional scale (Pura Raza Español) Stallion "Artist resin" called "Verocchio" sculpted by Brigitte Eberl. Her resin sculptures are particularly correct conformation wise.

  • YUp.

  • Yes I am aware of that, but they aren't all EXACT circles. I was told this by a judge :).

  • Also some Blue roan horses may get white spots.
