I was wondering if anybody knows how to set it to work just in tv mode.

I broke my tv remote and i dont have another, i tried a universal RCA and the codes would not work, so i bought another universal remote and that one did not work so now i have to change to HDMI on the tv itself, not a big deal just annoying, my volume also doesnt work when i have my PS3 on it only works on the receiver when im watching U-verse. Help please.

If you hvae A new uverse install, Make sure the tech is not secretly Billing you. At&t pushes techs to move finish a job under a certain time. That time shrinks so they can push more installs. that means bonus money to sales managers. When techs bill, they get time added to jobs. So managers allow this because Techs that work fast, make good Efficiency numbers for them as amanagers. They will knowingly let techs bill for what is supposed to be FREE installations.

@Triviumx33 remember, AFTER YOU SET THE TV, you have to press "at&t" on the top left, to operate the regular uverse stuff, like "menu" will be Thier menu, and not the tv's menu. I say "their" menu, because I was fired By at&t for defending my workmanship against a manager who insulted it, yet had never seen any of my work. he based it on hearsay from my own manager, who never saw any of my work to be service related either. And so it goes.

After you get the code, hit the "enter" button at the bottom right corner of the remote, so as to save it.

it works at first, turns off then i press ok and it turns back on but nothing works from there

@casagrandecats the tv was on in my video. But no, it doesn't for some tvs. I find it harder to do. its reversed. So if its Off, the right code will turn it on, faster than a barry white record! LOL

i have a problem. Every button works on my Uverse remote except the volume down. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

@commercialsaremywife chnge batteries. When they are low, they do odd things. But if you can volume up, perhaps you need a new remote. If you cant do volume at all, but u used to be able to with our remote, you may have switched remotes from another tv in the home, So try programming the remote to the tv again.

After you press play and the T.V. turns off you have to press enter to progam the code. Oh and Dish Network rules!!

@marinod02 I really like dish networks internet and phone they really do work well and...WOOPS! THEY DONT HAVE THAT! we are not a cable tv provider. We are a full service provider! LOL Thats like saying you enjoy magic jack over uverse, when all magic jack is, is a single phone voip tool. UVERSE wins.

If we can control it...Hold down the AUX button and 922...If it powers of..it powers off. If not We cant.

Try the same with the one that says "dvd" as well.

if your tv has a dvd or vhs built in, use the AUX button instead of the TV button as shown.

i tried to program the remote to a Symphonic model tv. I used every single code listed in the manual for a Symphonic and none of them turned the tv off. I even tried the 922 and that didnt work either. What do I do?
