Я только начал заниматься кикбоксингом и я не знал что там есть блоки и захваты ( в каком-то из видео вы показывали) это действительно присутствует в кике, или это ваши "добавки"? Спасибо за видео, очень грамотно снято и очень полезные пояснения!
Start with warm up, 10min, it should include stretching, stomach work, push-ups etc. After that work on Jab and Cross. Don't try to hit hard, if you have a punching bag, start pushing first keeping your arm straight, it will let you focus more on the body work. To put arms together is very easy to put body together takes time. You have to build muscle memory first so everything works naturally. After pushing, start doing double jabs and double crosses, again focusing on the body. Next Front kick
That's what this guy said on a forum about this video: "He seems to know what he's talking about, but to be honest his explanation on the jab it a bit off in that he telegraphs it. In other words, he pulls the arm back before throwing the jab which means if I'm throwing the FIRST variation he mentioned I would be beating him to the punch.
So it's not necessarily the best strategy, IMO. But I'm sure he would have an xplanation for that if you were to ask the question of him." -- so how about it?
It's a good question. But if you look at the video you will see that when I do jab or combination I do not telegraph it. I did load jab only in the exercise (I mentioned in the video that it is not how you are going to fight). The purpose of the exercise is to build muscle memory to involve more body into the punch - you have to feel it first. I tell my students to slow down and relax in the beginning so they feel and control the motion, after that they will be natural and more powerful. Txs
I've got a question. What if my opponent is bigger than me? About 20-30 cm. what technique should I use? Spasibo.

Great video! I'm newbi in kickboxing. Could you tell me about legs. When we make jab on what leg we should load the body weight? Fron or rear?
fujimatosa 2 years ago
You move your weight a little forward onto your front leg, but not too much or you will lose your balance.
