  • hai ram dhobia , think rasika dindial can send it for you if you want

  • Guyana mite have indian and black people, but it will not be the same as trinidad. The racees in trinidad is still different from Guyana! Only guyanese lovers will say Guyana is the same as Trinidad. I say go to guyana than Trinidad and you will see the differnt's.

  • Im Guyanese and I agree with you...Even in dancing,Trini people are better.(but im not tryin to downgrade guyanese people)

  • lol i agree and im guyanese as well

  • its jus couz trini people got money to promote themselves in guyana people dont got tyme for all a dat. making hmoney is hard enough in guyana dats why you see more tini artist and dancers. we have equal talent its just that trinidad is richer.

  • Everybody chill out and drink your rum:)PEACE!!

  • you know what FINE!! im wrong and youre perfectly correct.if you think its ok to insult a child because your info might be wrong then SO BE IT!! because that is what I READ in the National Library of Trinidad. And if you have ANYTHING to say to me then fine!Cause honestly my feelings are hurt!I live here my whole life and this is what Ive learnt! You can call me whatever names you like because im NOT an insolent fool and i CAN read!!

  • My wife is a Trinidadian Desi we have traced her lineage back to India and I've done it for over 200 families in Trinidad,Guyana, And Fiji, and From what I've traced for them the Majority or East Indians are not mixed no ignorance on my behalf just facts here. From also speaking to these families most Indians do not like to mix. As for your negative comments you can say what you want but go to school and learn to read it helps kid.

  • hey im from UP india,i love this.

  • i know alot of trinis who would say the opposite about being mixed. Whether Trinis know it or not , racism is still a problem in their country. That's why it's certainly looked down in Trinidad about being mixed (esp. in the Indo-Carib community). MAJORITY of Indian trinis are of pure East indian origin. If most of them were mixed then they would be called dougla.

  • trinidadians are mixed alot, i consider myself a west indie, although im from switzerland too, but certainly dont like it hehe;-)

    PS:wheres the dhal belly!?;-)

  • wow you people really hate Guyana Grow up Losers we are all the same...

  • we hate all yah but all yah have time 2 make blassted song and ting

  • And if i may add something else Most people in Trinidad YES THE OLD PEOPLE TOO! Are mixed with varios races including Spanish Chinese Indian French English Portugese and Africans.I can trace back to over 60 years ago and Personally tell you that around the time Trinidad became popoulted?Yeah most people are indeed in fact and most definatly mixed! And if you call that the younger generation you must be really old!And visiting 4-5 times?Try Living Whole life!Thats why I can tell you what's up!

  • The Indians in Trinidad are not mixed they are of East Indian descent however there is a 18% Dougla mixture of Indian and Black which means half indian and half black and their is a seperate census for them I've Done a lot of research about the country and it's people. the first part of this song is soca the second part is chutney and the dancer is of east indian descent.. East Indians are very traditional and they do not like to mix out of the race however the younger generation may

  • lissen i am 80% indian and 20% negro. and u talkin bulltata. we idianSz listen to everything in trinidad it's d way of our country and culture and that is the way we were brought up so u talkin BULLSHIT

    DO YOUR RESEARCH OVER JACKASS!!!!

  • Listen Child you do not know me have respect for your elders second I should have added the majority of Indians are not mixed so do not talk to me with such disrespect you insolent fool I go to Trinidad 4-5 times a year and like I said the younger generation may mix now so READ before you talk kid Most East Indians do not like to mix that is a fact and do not comment me back

  • What the ass is going on here people?

  • Well try going to Trinidad like 50 times a year....an who the fuck u think u r.....don't disrespect u....look man take ur time...an as i said do ur research over>it's bullshit.....

  • just to let you know...since i am Trinidadian and live there...We are originally Indian but if you did all of your reaserch you should know that most of Trinidad's people are mixed with many differnt races because in history there were many to come to our land including the French English AND Africans so to say we are mostly indian is wrong it's not only the younger generation though it goes back to the Amerindians who were the first people of our land ANd then came the spanish so we ARE Mixed.

  • im trini :D

  • hmm...Well that explains y u so stupid... lol!! There is a big a** sign in d back that says TRINIDAD & TOBAGO!!! No where does it say Guyana...unless u can't read or sumting.. if tha's d case then i apologise...lol

  • Love this song and the dancing

  • can't some one tell me the name of the last song and who sing it please.

  • BTW, I am not putting down one nationality over the other. Heck my grandparents followed the old caste system, dowry, and arrange marriage. But my parents have progressed. I am although thankful that they retained the moral Hindu way of living.

  • Toppadalyne..okay so you responded to me...I'll only repeat my words yes i am proud to be Guyanese and American. I am very thankful my ancestors left the bullshit politics in India, e.g. caste, arrange marriages, dowry system, cow worshipping, etc. (just is only naming a few). But i am happy they retained the other parts of the indian culture. God bless the Hindus living in Guyana.

  • You guys really need to get a website for this shit. Can we talk about the song and the vid, y r we going into roots and culture. Who cares about that at the moment. Racism is so wack it isn't funny!!!!!!

  • WHAT IS THIS SONG CALLED?? i LOVE IT :D:D:D:D:D:D

  • dont stop ... shurwayne winchester type it in on youtube. this is a chutney/soca + the dude that sang it is black. I love this song tho, freakin awesome! Im talking about the first song, the rest is chutney!

  • Very nice video

  • whats with all the guyanese

this video clearly says Chutney - Trinidad & Tobago..

    it doesnt say..

    Terry Gajraj - Guyana

  • u like u got a real prob wid guyanese

  • make love not war...this is starting to remind me of that north indian south indian bull shit again

  • Yes, because is the Guyanese fucking up de ting with all their racially charged inseurities. Why de fuck allyuh doh goan post on a Guyanese video and leave de Trinis tuh dey ting.

  • wah da song de mon was sing?

  • The beauty of the West Indies is the mix of cultures, who cares how we all came there? We have a rich culture and should respect each other to enrich the beauty of the West Indies. Peace to all.

  • There's so much racial tension in the West Indies. It's pretty dumb if you think about it cuz Blacks and Indians endured and built Guyana up. Indian put as much effort as the blacks did. Hopefully the power struggle will end. Seems as it's only getting worst though and the prime minister is not doing a thing about it. I believe they are promoting a new school of thought to eliminate the tensions.

  • Too much racial tension that is why my family chose to leave Guyana back inthe days! :) Hey we got kick out of India, then Guyana...I am calling Canada MY HOME which it is I am a proud Canadian-Guyanese!!!

  • we didn't really get kicked out of India. gyal you really need to read and ting (lol). Put your school wuk first though. :)

  • There is a smiley face in front of KICK OUT! I am using the word loosley, YOU need to loosen up a little bit!

  • When did we get kicked out from India?. the last time i checked our ancestors chose to come to Guyana, Trinidad, Suriname,etc...

  • We never got kicked out...man everyone is so serious. WE chose to leave!!! I was trying to use some humor...sorry!

  • For the colonial adminstrators and missionaries, the contrasts between the East Indianand the enslaved Africans were readily apparent. As one commentor qrote,"If Africans were regarded as clay which could easily be moulded into a Christian and Western shape, the Hindus and Muslims of India were more like stone that could only be worked painfully and with much toil" (Wood 1968)

  • what is that song that first played? "Any way you want you can wine on me..." something like that!!

    Who sings that song..love it!!

  • The song is called "dont stop" and the singer is Shurwayne Windchester. Do a search and you can view the video.

  • Oh yea the so "called" spanish people you talk about who speak spanish are not even really spanish rather then their all mixed with different things like black and AmerIndian whome were slaves to the real Spanish people from Spain. We on the other hand are still of pure East Indian decent! who might not know our mother tongue but we still know what the hell we are and where we really come from!

  • utavsaxena, sorry to say but your just full of shit .. You really have no clue that Indians in the West Indies still to this day retained a rich and colorful Indo-Caribbean culture. Alot of us still retain an Indian name, indian food, follow certain Indian customs, etc..

  • True, but some people were forced to convert! We are different from the East Indians today (traditional clothes, food the spices we use etc)

  • Like i said although some were forced to convert there are still indian living styles we still practice and observed. What i am saying Indian Christians are still influenced by old hindu life styles. WI still wear the traditional clothing (just not everyday). Our food is not that spicy compared to east indians.

  • I meant to say the spices they use and what we use are different. Different taste but i love them both!

  • True, very true.

  • luv this song big up TNT!

  • trinidad! trinidad

  • We can all thank a certain North American nation for pushing their noses into Guyanese politics, resulting in the villain Burnham taking control of the country. This was the reason that triggered the racial tensions in Guyana that has lasted to the present day. All becauase of rumours that Guyana was going communist via Jagan. Guyanese did good during the lasat election, I'm proud of them.

  • Im not a racist but Burnham was a total ass what he did to the people. Do you know what its like to hear people to had business but had to leave b/c they eventually had nothing b/c of that fool.

  • I have family that worked for the British high commission, that doesn't mean jack. Did your family own plantations? Let me guess the answer to that...NO? Then keep chopping that cane you coolie. The Brits were in the Big House, while your great greats toiled in the sun. Tell me, did your family arrive on a carnival cruise ship too?

  • your family should have stayed in India maybe until now you could finally have a chance to go to school. You're probably a village boy typical slave mentality of some of you. But no my darling of course it wasn't like that at first, they had to prove themselves just like any other person at that time.

  • Technology was booming then. Their wasn't no such thing as the IT boom that is now prevalent that is helping these little village boys in India become rich. At least the British gave us that chance. India pist and shit on some Guyanese for years w/o giving them a chance. Indian politicians have always shied away from it's people. Their an Aids crisis they've only recently started to take measures...but still Aids will always be an issue more than any other country for India.

  • Good one...like that line "carnial cruise"

  • Ah yes, the famous well off fables. Your family along with every other Guyanese family was "well off" had more jewellery then a jewellery store, owned businesses and lived in harmony with the brits. Coolies need to stop sucking the white mans puss (I really have nothing agaist white folk). They left India for a reason, not because life was a bed of roses.

  • Your family should have stayed in Guyana and live in the trash. How do you think so many india made it today. By coming to other countries then sending it back. Its these rich Indian Americans that helped India. People going back to their villages to help their community. India has major problems as you can see by some of their people. They are only now dominating the acedemia. Guyana is 98% literate for years. Like i said Guyana could have been somewhere if it wasn't for that jackass Burnam.

  • I meant also your ancestors should have stayed in the slums of India. And the trash of guyana that Burnam created. Why do you think so many Guyanese people left Guyana. He turned that country apart. They shouldn't blame him cuz he's a black man but as a person who f*cked up the country. Even black people will agree.

  • it is true that there is tension between north and south indian, but this is not a "color-based" tension or race-based. it is ethnic based. it is like in europe there is/was tension between germans and french and english. there are minor racial differences, but the features aren't what divide ppl as much as language and politics. hindustani speakers (hindi/urdu) are seen by the tamils especially as imposing their language onto other indians

  • The Virginia Gazette of Aug. 4, 1768, describes one young "East Indian" as "a well made fellow, about 5 feet 4 inches high" who had "a thin visage, a very sly look, and a remarkable set of fine white teeth." Another is identified as "an East India negro man" who speaks French and English.

  • Url's are not permitted here, I don't know how I can give you a link. Social historian Thomas Brown from the Lamar University in Texas has written about East Indian slaves. I will try to post an exerpt on runaway East Indian slaves...

  • TerminatingIdiots is your family able to confer with ur great greats? I know mine are dead. If we can come across the ill-treatment of minorities in mordern day America, Europe and Canada, I highy doubt it would be any better during the time of colonization. My grandfather couldn't even get a teaching job in Guyana unless he converted to christianity.

  • history are passed down..yes my grandmother was told this...but this is only one side of my family (mother side)..father side had to prove themselves..they got educated and then owned many businesses with the british. So they were pretty much well off in Guyana. Don't think India would have given my father side that opportunity. Sorry but it's the truth. Maybe i would be given that opportunity now if i was still living in india.

  • (cont. from previous post) India is progressing now. But look the good standard of living was passed down to me and my siblings. That probably would have never beeen the case..maybe my family would have been successful in India if they stayed but i doubt this very highly. Like i said India is only in the works of progressing now. Parents left Guyana in the 70's so they escaped the brutal treatment by Burnam.

  • many of the east indian descendants of today have truly become "coolies" in awe of europeans, comforming to their ideals. how common it is to hear about who is black and rusty and those who are fair and foreign/nice looking.

  • We are very fortunate and should be proud to hold our heads high and call ourselves WEST INDIANS whether we are of African, Indian, Chinese, or Native roots. Our ancestores have toiled in the sun, their lives and blood are in the soils of Guyana, Trinidad, Jamaica, Barbados, etc...

  • Wasn't it the early settlers of Guyana that suffered this horrible treatment and the ones that settled later didn't go through such harsh treatment. Cuz no one in my family mentioned anything harsh treatment by the British except for business deals with the British.

  • There is a major problem when it comes to darker skin and those who originated from Asia (and even those of african ancestry to a lesser extent). The Most High has BLESSED us with natural protection against the sun. Be a proud people and know that the West Indies is a blessed place.

  • but honestly, you guys always are atrracted to light skin girls..don't lie, there is something attractive about light skin people..nah just kidding some of the most beautiful guyanese girl r dark with model facial feautures.

  • Indentured servantry was the new TYPE of SLAVERY just under a differnt guise. Although slavery was "abolished:, lashing indians was practiced by the local whites even though it was outlawed by England. East Indian women were taken into the cane fields and raped. Aside from indentured servantry in the caribbean, U.S. documentaion exists stating that "East Indian Indians" were kept as slaves in America.

  • Where can i find the U.S. documentation that exists stating that East Indian from India that came around in the 1800s or 1900s stating that they were slaves. Are you talking bout the indians that settled in Califoria?

  • proud to be of UP descendants..UP girls are good looking..LOL.

  • I would say one of the main reason's why East Indians look down on west Indians is because of the assimilation w/ the Africans.

  • Indians from India don't mind blacks chinese or aborigonies. but they cant stand indians that r dark..it bothers them. indians from india hate each other. they put each other down persistently, yes the caste system is abolished but im sorry it is instilled in their minds.

  • Yeah, and that is why a lot of Madrasi people hate anything that has to do w/ Hindi, by people, region, and culture.

  • Yeah but WI (Guyanese and Trinis) are mixed with both not all are mixed..some are just straight up North or straight up South but majority of us are mixed with North and South. I guess that's why we were never considered to be like them???? we are different (most of us)

  • I think we are more indian than them...we are mixed with all of India..that's why we don't understand their pride, they hate each other..while we just like our fellow brown people doesn't matter what region you come from.

  • This is what happened. The dominating Indians of the Caribbean mainly came from UP & Bihar, the dialect they spoke was Bhojpuri, and chutney is mainly sung in Bhojpuri. The chutney music is traditional Bhojpuri folk music that had a fast beat, then w/ a sprinkle of calypso fusion, it became Indo-Caribbean.

  • The rest of the Indians came from south Indian states of Tamil Nadu (Madras), Andhra Pradesh, and Kerala....but the majority of the south was Madras, mostly Tamil speaking people. In Guyana there are Madrasi Indians who haven't mixed w/ other types of Indians. Singers Anand Yankaran and Rakesh Yankaran's grandfather was from Andhra Pradesh. Both them fellows look southern Indian, esp. Rakesh.

  • Even though Rakesh Yankaran's ancestors were Telugu speaking people (that is the language in Andhra), he sings in bhojpuri Chutney.....why? That is the common norm of the Indo-Caribbean, but now that song "doi festival" is not in Bhojpuri, but Tamil, which is a new phenomenon....Tamil chutney.

  • And yes, Caribbean Indians comprise of mixtures of different types of Indians.

  • i have no bihari in my gene line..thank god.LOL. they are known as uneducated people in India. ROFL.

  • Yeah, but that is sad. There needs to be more development and literacy in that area. Speaking of literacy, these north Indians look down on south Indians, little do they know....Tamil Nadu and Kerala has 100% literacy.

  • It's the South Indians that look down on the North. Indians are weird. Thank god we left India.

  • Actually no, its the opposite. There is a complexity on being fair-skinned in India. The lighter-skinned Northerners look down on the southerners because of their dark-skin. There are dark northerners in certain regions, they face the same discrimination.

  • Yout have it mixed up, north & south. In general Indians from India are judgemental, they go by caste, skin colour etc. The W/Indians are not but you will find a few that are. We're Indians we should all learn how to get along regardless to the shade of our skin!!!

  • I was reffering to: SI look down on NI bc of their low literacy rates not skin color. SI's have a booming economy bc of technology so they look down on NI. But the NI do look down on SI for not being white enough (lighter shade). They are disgusted by their skin tone. I know this bc ive heard it over and over again.

  • Oh ok, I thought you meant it the other way around! lol

But you know what? In Guyana, people still look down on Madrasis to THIS DAY.

  • it's true they call them Madd rass people.

  • but u were talking of why indians look down on indo-caribs is because of dark skin or mix with black, and that is not true, and is totally different story from inter-subcontinent identitites (cause they disappear for most part when you leave for the West, just like has happened in the Windies).

  • Indians might do so if they think that there is an entire culture of Indians who have lost their religion, culture, language, etc. And don't tell me your ancestors gave it up willingly, no, they were forced to.

The English or Spanish never gave up their own culture in the Caribbean, its always been the Africans and Indians who had to compromise.

  • Indians don't like Indians being so foreign because it reminds us of conquest and slavery. Same reason we don't like our own Muslims because it reminds us of how the Arab culture has raped its way into India.

  • Then all you Indians that left India to reside in the USA, UK, and Canada are an outcast to your motherland India. Oh please. The jews have dispersed themselves all over the globe and so have the Chinese. That's a lame excuse. And GA,TRi,Suri we have all preserve our religion and roots, and the language. Some have died and kept their indian last names. Give me a better reason please.

  • They are indians in the Carribbean whose blood, sweat and everything that is indian is on that soil in Guyana. Many have retained their cultural roots just like many Indian Americans here. Even the Christians are still heavily indian cultured. Many were killed bc they didn't want to give up their roots. So dont there. You indians need to take a trip to Guyana. Don't talk cuz you don't know shit.

  • TRUE points you made here. Big up those who call themselves west indian we are not east indian we're west indian (of course indian decent from india) =)

  • West Indian is so vague though. West indian as many see it as being afro. People usually don't know that indians are heavily pronounced in the WI. Even the afros wanted to drive the indians out. Read about the black power movement. These guys who tried to bomb JFK, they were part of the black power movement in the 90s.

  • They (eng and spanish in the carrribbean)never had to give up their own culture cuz they are all fucked the natives or blacks or some other race, therefore they are mix..guyana is 16% mix which means indians or the blacks really are serpated. The white population in the carrib has declined dratically b/c they fucked everyone and is now in the mix population.

  • Indians from india r extremelly pro fair skin, thats why many dont like us representing indians or wearing cultural clothing, i've heard it from many indians (from india) they dont like WI women cuz they are not as fair as the women in India, they all say i look like i'm from india cuz i'm fair, they dont realize they r many WI women that r fair as well..They all seem to think we are mixed with black or SI descendants or just super dark cuz we r in the carribbean sun.

  • North Indians are like that, they don't like south Indians cuz of the general dark-skin. Ironically, in Tamil Nadu...the heroine in a Tamil movie is NEVER dark, sometimes the hero is (lol).

  • im indian frm india (bengali hindu), and i dont think there are any indians as race conscious as those in the caribbean, but at same time so far from their roots as far as knowledge of india. i was watching world cup game few months back with a trini friend and she was discussing with her guyanese friend that she's pure indian and the curl in her hair is because of the bengali she has in her...ppl so far frm reality in india, in india the darker u are the straighter ur hair (aborigines)

  • Please, indians in India are soooooo caught up in the whole north vs south bullshit. And maybe her bengali ancestor had curly hair. South india is close to africa noticed the slight similarities..

  • but why be so apologetic for having wavy/curly hair? is it something unthinkable to have african genes? if u went to india, u will realize that everyone from the darkest african, the darkest australian aborigine, to the italian and spaniard and even chinese/thais look like average indian, that is nobody will turn their head around. also, as i said, south indians have straighter hair and darker skin than north indians, unless there are african genes floating around.

  • please more than half of the WI women perm their hair so i dont know what u or her are talking about, they love curly hair..and indians r extemelly pro fair skin.indians from indians r eager for whiter skin..you guys promote and almost all indian women i know use fair and lovely cream.

  • Be careful if you say that to a south Indian, many Indians hate blacks.

  • Yeah i know..Secretly many hate blacks but they are cordial to everyone..Indians hate everyone including their own. They have major inferiority complex. they are intimadated by whites. they are weird, they seem to have low self esteem. Why the hate? Thats why i'm proud to be guyanese.

  • that is true wat u said abt the fair and lovely, its unfortunate, but this is only a maybe 100 year old custom, india is thousands of years old bro. this is the age where its not india on top of the world like we were 500 years back, but the white man is, so we feel inferior to him. but times are changing again u see, we have the brain power and the population to get back in the game. also go to the usa and see how dominated the academia is by indians.

  • so are most the indo-caribbeans mad cause the E.indians dont consider them indian?why do some of you diss india and claim their proud to be Guyanese/trini w.e? Untill you have met all 1 billion indians and others located across the globe, and untill you have actually traveled to India and are 100%sure dont insult us. I am not intimidated by whites,Im not weird, nor have low self esteem, and i dont hate any race. If your indo-caribbean and still consider yourself INDIAN than I say spread the love!

  • Oh boy..What's with the response? anyway i'm proud to be Guyanese..Yes i say it again. We have surpassed the nonsense that exist in India such as:caste, arranged marriages, dowry, just to name a few. Thank god..And proud to be South American and West Indian. Sorry if you have a problem with this. Well i just don't give a shit. see ya!

  • a lot of that 'nonsense' exists amongst the hindu culture primarily. im not saying ALL just most. Im catholic so my parents and grandparents didnt have to put up with that arranged marriages/caste system bull. Another factor aside from being catholic is also because we are in a different time. Yes dowry/A.marriages and so on still exist in today india but a lot of catholic Indians in the last 75 years have bypassed those practises because they follow their own tradition.

  • catholicism has it's nonsense as well. So lets not blame the hindu culture.

  • Um the only person blaming anyone is you. Stop insulting Indians & their culture. I was simply replying to your comment 'west Indians have surpassed the nonsense that exists in Indian culture'. Well I'm saying that the Catholics have also surpassed the 'nonsense' (A. Marriages/caste system) in Indian culture. Catholics have their nonsense as well but that's another story. My ancestors were most definitely Hindu, I'm not blaming anyone, But bullshit is everywhere, so stop the finger pointing!

  • not finger pointing at all fool...I just don't think it's really religion per say...people just distort religion to use to their advantage and ruin religions such as hindism, catholicism, Islam, etc. then the religion gets tarnish.

  • ...

  • you is one ediot like u doh get tired or wuh? i could tell you doh have no life cuz if you did you wouldnt be on youtube chating so much i never see somebody who rell feel they smart so always trying to teach ppl nobody cares god damn it!!!!

  • to terminatingidot, (religions and other comments aside) seriously what do you have against east indian people in general?

You are not god, so you don't have any right to judge anyone, any culture, or any race, based on their history or their past 100+ yr old customs. and dont try to defend yourself cuz ur numerous posts here prove otherwise.

  • Wow, do i have a fan club? I have nothing against east indians. Hello i am married to a south indian guy and i am of indian origin. I just can't tolerate ignorance. Majority of the population is very very ignorant. Hey i put forth my point of view if i see something i don't agree with. no harm in that right?

  • -you have anything BUT a fan club.

-dont "Hello" me, am i supposed to know you married a south indian guy? and its not like that helps it just makes what you say all the more confusing??

-and just cuz ur of indian origin doesn't give you any insulting rights...sorry;)

    - so you cant tolerate ignorant ppl huh? and what are you? a saint?

-point of view? more like bashing!

  • you should really think deep before you open your mouth. That's right how are you suppose to know anything about me, well there you go fool, don't prejudge me then. People have the right to express cultural flaws. People are doing it all over you tube. Your people have gone through extreme methods of posting foolishness. go pick a bone with them.

  • Fool, dont overgeneralize and dont group all Indians into one category. If ur going to "express cultural flaws" then be ready for the repercussions. If ur going to tell me to really think deep?before I open my mouth then I should say the same to you. For ex:"You Indians need to take a trip to Guyana. Don't talk cuz you don't know shit."Thanks for contradicting yourself dumass, it seems Ur the one who doesn't know shit. And reading a couple of books and doin a little googling doesn't make you wise.

  • I am convinced you 'certain' Indians are full of propagandas, lack comprehension and really a waste of time to converse with. Peace out loser.

  • wow congratualations your an idiot!

...and I've said this before...Im only half Indian, why dont you guess what my other half is.

    fuck off ugly whore...=D

  • THIS IS A HOT SONG....SOCA/CHUTNEY music is sick

  • great dancin check out my website displayyourtalent com

  • TerminatingIdiots, I totally agree with what you said.Indians from India tend to also discriminate against each other. We on the other hand are all mixed with all different kinds of Indian ethnic groups like Bihari, Rajasthani, Punjabi, Madrasi, to even Afghani. If Indians in the West Indies followed the caste system we would have all died out and also our great culture would not even survive. But the Indians stopped this whole caste system in order to survive!

  • This crap has got to stop! Can we get a site for this shit? I was recently in an argument with these indian guys from India and they consider all wi (indo's) as coolies. They made it very clear that WI r disliked and should not call thereselves indian. I was told that WI should not try to sing songs in languages we know nothing about. They also concluded that they were highly offended by chutney songs. This is an on going war with them and us. Can we(all WI) atleast try to get along?

  • You have to remember something about Indians. Do discriminate agaist their own kinds. Even if you are a Patel, there are still different levels of being a Patel. So no matter what we say or do it won't matter to them. Majority have inferior complex. They are all dislike by another caste. The feeling of subjugating helps them cope with their own inferior caste. We have a plethora of different caste b/c of our histroy (mixing with other indians) so we are blinded by this indian caste theory.

  • For us just being brown says enough. We don't hate each other. Perhaps b/c we stem from so many different backgrounds i.e. punjabi, madrasi, rajastani, up, bihari, lahore, afgani, etc. ...Also the fact that different caste member settled (brahmins, farmers, kashri, etc. We had to get along cuz we were getting killed
