  • Hey guys, Billy has had a tremendous influence on my song writting. Could you check out my song "innocence" in my channel and tell me what you think? Thanks! I'll be posting more within a couple of days.

  • This song makes tears fill my eyes..

  • Blink and I'll be gone...

  • that was beautiful. i can play it over and over. i know who i want to dedicate this song to now

  • stumbleine is the best song off mellon collie by far[opinionated statement]

  • yeah, he is right. there is a mistake. Billy sings 'I tried to strong' he misses 'be'. it should be 'I tried to be strong'.. or at least I think so..

  • @lemonscure No he says it, just very quickly I can see how yall miss it

  • @lemonscure "I try to be strong for you."

  • A mistake at 1:12 or 1:13? What is that?

  • what are you talking about?

  • One of my definite favors..I love this band.

  • Billy for President!

  • This song and Sweet Sweet are both 3/4 time and both are amazing.

  • hes so hott and his voice and music is so additcing

  • tera1320 cyberpunk extrodinaire.

This is not escapism....Not in any way.

These are the songs of A Starjammer.

  • Billy Corgan's b-sides are better than the best that other artists have to offer. the aeroplane box set has some really great gems on it, I really recommend tracking it down

  • @dubconcrete true.And i cant f*kin explain that,no other artist/band i know has so many and of such quality b sides.

In fact i wish instead of this new era SP of himself and the servants, i just wish he could record all the sounds that were as snippets in Pastichio Medley.

  • He's so fond of putting his own twist on hymns and spirituals, a habit that first emerged with Zwan's 'Jesus I' and 'God's Gonna Set this World on Fire.' Plus more live.

  • When was this written? It sounds like something he would write around Adore.

  • Sounds more Mellon Collie era so I'd guess around '95

  • What I mean about it possibly being Adore-era was that it sounds like it's about his mother dying.

  • "This is supposed to be the Mellon Collie gospel song, and a rough version even exists with all the band members singing. This version is my home demo, cut on the same morning as 'Stumbleine.'" -BC (Guitar World 1/97)

So, in other words, it was a MCIS demo

  • i have heard there is an unreleased gospel version of this song with all the band singing. i'd love for that to come out.

  • Where did you hear about the gospel version at bOlly? That would be amazing. I remember this box set coming out as a teenager and just being blown away at how every damned song was great on it.

  • i can't remember exactly, i think either billy or someone close to the band (maybe that frank quinto guy) blogged about varous findings in the archive and that was one of them.

  • thank you for posting this song. going to have to pull the box out tonight and play some for my son....

  • loved it back in winter and early spring of 05 love it now
