I have read this book several times (am a shark nut!) and am jacked to see this is finally getting it's due. If it is done right, sticking to the script within means and spending some bucks on the CGI - this will be a HUGE movie, pun intended.

Idk, cause they have made some pretty insane movies before, and the fact that this creature could still be alive...I wouldn't call that crazy. Everything that was written in that book, the facts and all had come from proffesional scientists who had dedicated their lives to the Megalodon. Soo hopefully they will create it =]

I have read the book, and it was ok, but not for one second did I go "Oh, wow, they have GOT to make this wonderful book into a movie", because it just wouldnt fit.

Did you see shark attack 3? With the stupid meg in that? That shows you how rubbish it would be, and also shows the kind of second rate movie company that would make it in the first place

I'm gonna take a wild guess that ever since the craptastic horror that was Shark Attack 3: Megalodon, people are being VERY cautious about making a movie out of the book.

Hell, I bet the book itself kicks ass but Megadolon's known to have bad movie history.

Ummm...sharks don't have eye lids so they can't open their eyes. Roll their eyes back, yes, but they only do that when biting, so it still wouldn't make sense for the shark to be beside the sub and its eyes to be rolled back. Plus, its been done already...ala Jurassic Park.
