  • What time would you say you cought the engines coming into the yard?

  • @CSXACe Probably 12PM, an hour before the first train was to depart.

  • @MarcusVermilion Alright. Thanks for the info. I think I'm going to make a run out for this tomorrow.

  • I was just there for the Christmas rides like 1 week ago

  • @KyleVideoDesignsI couldn't make this time. Maybe in April for the next Easter Bunny Train.

  • I like the music from 5:52-7:35

  • @YankeePat94 Yes, the "Twin Peaks" sounding jazz music. I used that as the audio in the passenger car was a mix of loud kids and Johnny Cash music on the PA system. The latter would have made the video a candidate for DCMA claims.

  • @MarcusVermilion What does DCMA stand for?

  • @YankeePat94 I have two of the letters flipped. It should be DMCA. That's Digital Millennium Copyright Act. Those initials are used mainly to describe copyright infringement.

  • @MarcusVermilion the vid won't get removed, but YouTube will cut the sound

  • @YankeePat94 True so I slipped in other music in it's place.

  • cool

  • @artntrinkets Thanks!

  • oh really? I was right. thanks dude

  • oh about 3010 it's on lease with morristown and erie from norfork southern due to locomotive shortage it was leading this train for or they just did it for the heck of it.

  • @hamstertrain18 It was used due to locomotive shortage.

  • at 7:30, the passaic river still high from the nor'easter

  • @YankeePat94 Yes, it was still higher than normal back in March. I rode on the train the year before and it was lower back then. {No video footage from the 2009 train ride. Rain caused streaks on windows.}

  • @MarcusVermilion the passaic was worse in little falls wayne and paterson

  • @YankeePat94 Yes, I live in Wayne, on a high spot, and it was BAD!

  • i wonder y trains stop b4 crossing eisenhower pkwy?

  • @YankeePat94 The line ends right by I-280. The connecting track to the former Erie Caldwell Branch has been abandoned for decades.

  • @MarcusVermilion i know. tracks are removed north of harrison ave. the tracks between I-280 and harrison ave are covered in weeds and the part under I-280 is used as car storage.

  • no problem

  • nice video dude

  • @hamstertrain18 Thanks! I was glad to get better weather than last year!

  • Great vid! It sure is awesome to see a Norfolk Southern engine on this line. 3010 has an awesome P3.

  • Thanks! I had an external Sony mic plugged into my Canon Vixia HV40 to get better sound.

  • @MarcusVermilionIt definitely works. The audio quality is fantastic.

  • @GenesisSanctuary Thanks. It's a ECM-MS908C (Now discontinued). It's great for audio. It's only flaw is its wind buffer does no do a great job of cutting out wind rumble when hit with direct gusts of wind. I didn't that much of a problem with wind yesterday though.

  • @MarcusVermilion Eh, not that much you can really do about the wind anyway.
