in this video there are many monasteries,Vatopaidi,Karakalou,Iviron etc ecxept the Monatery of Filotheou, dont you see it??????........the title is not correct
It's a lovely video - but I don't think all of the images are of Philotheou; there appear to be some slides of Vatopedi, Karakallou and at least one other monastery mixed in as well - and some general shots of the countryside. Looks like the friend who gave you the video stayed mostly on the western side of Athos!

i was there, its, among all my travels and places i have seen, an outstanding rememberance due to this wonderful piece of gods land.....the spiritual power you can feel....far away frrom all silly games of the present world.....
So what? That is Greece! You took picture of holy places in Greece without my permission. We will use your pictures as we wish, you have no right or credit to those pictures. Also, most of them are shitty in angles and lighting. Keep the camera straight when you're taking a picture, asshole! Worthless photographer calling for his photo copyright is pathetic...
You prick! You think I need to steal pictures from a worthless photographer? NO! I take my own pictures by myself. What you photographed belongs to Greece, not to you. You photographed the churches around Mt Athos, you should be happy when your pictures got shared over the internet.
I never stole anything from you and I never called anything my own. Instead you photographed what belongs to Greeks and still cry for copyright? How lame is that?
P.S. You are a worthless photographer with no talent
You should be happy for this. Photographing holy places near Mt. Athos is forbidden. Your pictures were used for good, not for bad. Nobody is going to ask for copyright as long as you took pictures of that area. I suggest you keep the camera straight when you take pictures next time...
And no, I'm not the creator of this video so, you can't say I'm the one stealing anything from you. You stole pictures of Greece. Who gave you this right. From what I know, churches around Athos are forbidden to be photographed. Do you want me to send a notice to the Athens police dept and to the Athos prefecture and to have you locked up in your own country, for photographing something that is holy to other people? Sit in a corner for 10 minutes and say you're sorry!
Thank you for this wonderful video. Would you please be kind enough to let me know the title of the Byzantine chant and/or where I might find it (DVD, etc.)
Brothers and Sisters from GREECE and RUSSIA, let´s stick together in this times of madness and injustice. Our Lands are far from each other but our ORTHODOX culture connects us , no mather how far the distance is. IT`S NOT JUST ABOUT THE BELIVE IN GOD, its about sharing an attitude towards life and its development on this earth. Don´t underestimate this conection, our forfathers fought for it´s extension, and now it´s up to us to continue it , far above the relligious relevance...
I take it you had no blessing to photograph any monks or any service during your stay right?
Your photos are good..but I wonder if you didn't have blessing or just didn't have time to photograph the fathers during a service or even inside any of the churches?
A friend gave me the video so as to upload it for friends of Mount Athos around the world and seekers. There are other nice videos on-line with shots and videos scenes from liturgy in Mount Athos monasteries. Happy Easter!
