Boston is the best band i've ever heard, fucking great song, great band, this music will never die. All you guys will agree with me that boston makes some of the best music this planet has ever heard.
This is my all time fav rock 'n roll band ever. I'm 47 and I thank one of my older brother. This clip almost sounds better than my CD for crying out loud. Thank you for that Coesser. My even older brothers I thank for Creedence and Jim Croce but this right now is about BOSTON!
I always thought this song was by Paul McCartney. Every time I heard it I thought, "I wonder if Paul knows he's ripping off Peace Of Mind." Now I feel silly.
Awesome song, I love Boston! I heard this song yesterday on KGB 101.5, and promptly slapped the shit out of myself for forgetting to add it to my BOSTON playlist. It hurt. I deserved it.
@aRETARTEDsquirl14 Rebecca Black is a fad, these guys are timeless! This was released in 1978 and you are listening to it in 2011...let's see if people will remember Miss Black after so many years.
Saw Boston in 1987 at the Worcester Centrum in MA. They sold out 10 shows in a row there! Had crappy behind the stage seats, but it was still great. Saw them again in 1997 at Great Woods in Mansfield, MA. Had fifth row seats and it was awesome! I believe this was the last encore song they did. RIP Brad Delp.
The Beatles were primarily the first musicians who regarded music as a serious art form on the level of painting or sculpture. They had an intense interest in all the arts and this was reflected in their music. This attracted like minds to music and so you had a huge wave of real talent in not just rock but in country as well.
Today's musicians mostly have reverted back to just being performers. So there is a lesser quality to the music being produced.
Theres somany things you can say about music, but it's all opinion and personal taste... but at the same time its also the "I want to go with the flow and be with the crowd" rather then going with the Rockers, they go for the pop and rap and the popular stuff. Even if the lyrics are "I wanna make you sweat" Because honestly, in my opinion, some songs today are 4 sentences with Ou's, La's, Yay's, Go's, etc... Being added to make it long.
Listening to this kind of music, it's so very sad to see those Rihannas and Lady Gagas be on top of the musical world these days. This is the REAL music. So awesome!
@Kheldaurus You should really consider being more objective. Just because you don't like today's big musicians, doesn't mean that this is "real" music. Before this era of music, people thought that rock like this didn't belong on the charts. Times are changing, and so is the music.
@NCalabreezy well the definition of music is to many instruments played together for rythem and harmony if u wanna get tecnical rap and hip hops isnt music, but anyway it is pure fact that this actualy takes skill, anyone can think up a song and anyone can figure out a few computer tricks to make 3 beats but i wanna see someone pick up a guitar without training and play this
@crazeyboii678 Music is the combination of vocals and instrumental sounds. Whether computer-based or an actual instrument is used, they are both vessels through which music is created. Creating beats is part of creating music if you 'wanna get technical' and appeals to people with different tastes. You cannot create an actual definition of music because you don't consider hip-hop or rap as music, you lack objectivity and your comment is biased.
@NCalabreezy well actually i dont mind rap/hiphop i just dont listen to it and im just saying what my dictionary says, also u still gotta agree rock takes more skill
@NCalabreezy but consider that just about all rappers out there have lyrics that r complete shit, mainstream is a complete disgrace for that kind of music, hip hop however has no backup, almost 0 skill
@NCalabreezy its just a cakewalk -- I think it helps also if you are unable to speak good english and have a criminal background... screw rap / hip hop
This hail-some top-on-the-hill hit reminds me of the days I manned the manners of ROCK. Those were the days and I love Brad's cueing too. The claps made this track a choir-some! Coolrunning, Brad!

I was a New York kid when this came out, and there was natural rivalry with Boston, probably rooted in the Yankees/red socks decades old thing. When THIS band Hit, all that Crap went out the window. We were ALL Boston from the jump and since, lovin the first album recorded in a basement ! only 678 more views till 200,000- I can do that....no problem

@jamiekw73 i looked at your profile, your one to talk, i really dont think a 37 year old is immature enough to act as if he is older than other by replying on top comments saying "grow up" soooooooooo
