As for prisoners in Gitmo, each case is unique and carries with it its own set of circumstances. If there is sufficient evidence that the prisoner in question has committed any crimes, then charge them with said crimes and throw them on trial. We are over there in the Middle East under this guise of spreading democracy and proving that our system of government works. Why would we abandon our rule of law right in the middle of this effort?
