Brotherhood had great songs on it, but the production of very poor on the songs. It didn't do them justice at all. In fact, I have this concert on DVD, and it sounds much better than Brotherhood.
@deanc2000 The production was fine and the album is great. Live stuff has a vibrancy agreed, but the sound on PFD is often distorted. Check Perfect Kiss 10 min version, quality, but Barney's cowbell is so out of time.
There was money in this release for New Order and Factory records. If you were aware of it's existance and could purchase it, that is. Local guy too.....
I remember picking up the Brotherhood cassette in the fall of '86. I had a handful of other cassettes when I saw this one. I put them all back so I could concentrate on New Order's latest. I was not disappointed. Great song from a great album.
All who want PFD soundboard polished & released properly thumb up

Why the hell isn't a full-quality soundboard version of this for sale on iTunes??!!?!!!
The last verse alone is AMAZING.

I'll NEVER understand why Brotherhood is considered a disappointing New Order album.

I read ... what went wrong from Low Life to Brotherhood ?
The obvious thing for N.O to keep on moving and not standing still.. So nothing went wrong !

What went wrong from Lowlife to Brotherhood. If they played this in a Mall i'd probably leave and not come back for a year.
Apart from BLT this lp withered on the vine.
