I'm happy that i've finally found the vibe in this music, took 2 months of listening to this album over and over again, but i finnally see why these guys are so amazing!
un amico mi disse un giorno ma cosa è successo in italia in 40 anni, negli anni '70 questo pezzo era in testa alla classifica dei dischi più venduti...adesso chi c'è? ...
Its sad to think that I have been a progressive rock fan since 1976 and I didnt have a clue about these guys until 2001.At least the music is fresh to me unlike the other great classic prog bands. Why wasnt this music released in the USA for 30 years?VDGG is one of the few prog bands thats angery and emotional and never detached like most prog can be.Robert Fripp really added to this classic and filled in the only weakness. No guitars.
@Big77Jim Don't feel too bad. I've been listening to ELP, King Crimson, Genesis, etc. since they started and only discovered this band by accident within the last couple months. While I can understand some people might not go for their sound, seems they should have been somewhat more popular.
@daven58100 Yeah, well, they were never played on the radio, but still, this album is well known, its usually considered one of the best prog rock albums to exist. So its more just well known in prog rock, not like pink floyd or yes.
Great quality video you can hear Fripp. One of my all time favourite albums an absolute masterpiece, a work of unparalleled genius, yes it is prog rock, but highly experimental, powerful and emotional collection of songs and movements.
when I heard it the first time at my friend Paulo, I had a great impression that I was surprised by the Glimpse of God through the window. never heard anything so shocking. sorry for being an exaggeration, but the sonic power that there is impressive. I recommend you listen to the remastered version.

@mindofprog He who says he knows, only spoils it for those who want to forget it, in order to learn it again.
