I was a Queen fan years ago;saw them on their first headline tour when I was 17.I grew away from that style of music but always repected their professionalism and ability to write/perform great pop/rock songs.I think the Paul Rogers idea is a masterstroke;here's a guy who's been there and still has huge ability and the presence to put it over.I guess the die hards will hate it,but I think the band and management deserve congratulations for an inspired decision.

rogers did terrible if he tried he could sound at least somewhat like freddie. He could take it all the way but instead he had to through in his own style which made it seem like he felt freddie never existed. queen isn't queen without mercury

Paul walked down the stairs here when the image of Freddie came up, they all have respect for one of the greatest singers in the world, but Paul Rodgers was one of the greatest songers in the world and indeed, invented the rock-style of singing single handedly. Rodgers is still very good, but listen to him in Free, then you will hear the magis that Freddie had aswell!!
