@XXXavavaXXX0 it took me about 10 seconds after hearing the echo to realize it wasn't Mayall's voice or the ECs exact guitar licks. Guitar tone is nice, though it might be a strat. and the player struggles (chokes:) on some licks in the middle. Proof in the pudding is the uploader's truthful labeling under the vid:
'ANTAR BLUE BAND sings and plays Eric Clapton / John Mayall/s Bluebreakers golden rendition of Otis Rush classic "All Your Love (I Miss Lovin')" NO TAB! NO BACKING TRACK!'
@Antarblue Thanks for the info AntarBlue. that a die hard EC/Bluesbreakers fan would need do a double take before realizing your excellent version of All Your Love is a cover- says how good it is. And it was the echo, not the righteous BBreakers guitar tone that clued me in. Good job!!
@GuiitarBilly are you sure that this is a cover??O.o how can you say that? is it just because you don't remember the echo, or you know it with certainty?o.ò can't it be that this is another version of the same song made by the SAME artists, and not a cover made by others...? (i'm not a big connoisseur of these artists, so I ask it just because i'd like to know it... of course you may have right, then maybe all I've said is wrong!)
Eric says John Mayall gave him an education on american blues. John had a huge record collection and he and Eric listened to many of them over and over. Eric really didn't play that long with John and his band and formed Cream right after quiting John's band. John had three great players in a four year span. After Eric left Peter Green came aboard and latter on Mick Taylor as well. Taylor would latter go on to play with the Stones, and Green with Fleetwood Mac. John is a legend...
@52joan Yeah Bluesbreakers had quite an impact when it came out in '66 dinnit? Introduced us to Clapton. Yeah it's BMW in a way. "All Your Love" was written and performed originally by Otis Rush. Peter Green who wrote BMW was highly influenced by Rush. Check out "Before the Beginning" on the "Then Play On.." LP It's a continuation of Rush's "Double trouble."
@grzegorzgrabol Probably! Certainly that Otis Rush minor latin thing. Greenie was in love with Otis as I am. Check out "Before the Beginning" ("Then Play On" album) and play it back to back with Otis' "Double Trouble" Greenie's song is certainly an extension of Otis' song.
@grzegorzgrabol The point I'm making is that "Before the Beginning" is an extension of Otis Rush "Double Trouble" not "All Ur Love." Anyway "Before the B..." is in B minor and modulates to Bb minor.
Thank you Tor! I did it live in Denver a few years ago. I ran it down verbally at a blues jam. These guys had never heard it (blues?!!!). And we just did it! I have a nice recording of a very short "All Yer Luv" with a wall of crowd applause!
Nice :)

C'mon, it's the blues. They all sound similar.

Great, although I must say I hated the slightly flanged digital sounding delay, wich is a lot better suited for a David Gilmour song.
This song demands a guitar sound that fills in a very warm medium/big room. Airy yet warm and organic, with a hint of feedback.
If you listen carefully to the original, it has this little feedback going making it sound a step beyond previous guitar records yet super warm.

Your title is a bit misleading. (I thought I was going to hear the original song). A good cover, nonetheless.
Your guitarist has the tone down-packed.
