I have my own beginners VEX set but i never could get enough to parts to make a really good robot. Shame that First Robotics had it all part shiping stoped(at least for my area).
thats sweet..i custom made a crane w/ mine..i had to use plastic sheeting to create the crane part. but used to kit for the rest..its pretty sweet..i also put a bigger battery on mine that is rechargeable..you should try that as well
The cable was just a steel cable that could be used to pull the robot off of the cover if the battery was to fail or something else was to occur that would prevent me from moving the robot using only the remote. Luckily the cable was never needed, even during the peliminary tests.
still slower then just using a broom, i wouldn't waste $100+ on a slow robot that does this unless im a lazy fat asshole. but im not so uhhh yea i prefer broom
lol on the bot cam youd see the bt shift a bit thend it faal in the water and explode

Brooms are much faster, but common guys, whats more fun? A push broom or a freaking robot!? But I see your points...

make it automated and you'll have something you can sell for money

Is the cable for power?
I thought it was battery powered.
