  • Cause his soul lives on

  • how can it be in '04 as he died in '02

  • Canadians write the best country songs!

  • the year is 1984

  • does he always play this at a different tempo?

  • waylon, come back!

  • Waylong did 2 ACL shows - one in '84 and one in '89. This one is from the 1989 performance. Both are phenomenal though I can't recall a bad live show from the man!

  • As already pointed out, this isn't from '04 since Waylon passed away in February of 2002 (RIP!) and had not been able to walk or stand in concert for a good year or two before that, due to the diabetes. I saw Waylon in concert a number of times and I would venture to say that this is more like 1994, based on his look and voice. (just a guess though).

Great song, so much better than the original Neil Young version. Miss ya Hoss, you were one of a kind!

  • Waylon my favorite and no one does it better than Ralph Mooney

  • Waylon was one of the best. Love his songs.

  • woop woop. good ol moon...

  • I dont think that is 84,,,,,,,,Late 80's or early 90's! Look at the picture and the bands dress. And he had aged a bit by the time this was shot.

  • It is actually from '84. I've got the DVD, and it reads '84. It was his performance at the Austin City Limits. Kicked ass on this one.

  • He passed away Feb. 13th 2002.. so the date is wrong on this video.

  • Who is the steel player here?? Doing Moon lines. And doing them well!! Is it Moon????

  • Yeah, that's Mooney.

  • Thank you.

  • man that aint o4 thats 84 cause waylon died in 02 man i wish i would have made it to 04 show some of them new boys how sell hits man lol

  • aug 7 1984 the day after my birthday i was 15

  • Fantastic

  • i have dvd since yesterday bought it in dublin fantastic

  • Waylon Looks like he's in good shape here in 2004, for being Dug up from his grave 2 years after he died.

  • With today's modern embalming techniques, ANYTHING is possible! LOL!

  • The show is released, yes. Both on DVD and CD, I've just ordered it from the U.S. I was just like; Wow, I've been searching the whole net for concert-DVDs and here it is. Happy christmas, Waylonfans! :-)

  • CORRECTION : This show is from 1984 ! Waylon died February 13 2002 ! It would have been kinda hard for him to perform two years after his death ... The DVD just came out , it's very good . Highly recommended .
