  • hey what song did you use in the backround??? i lovve it!

  • mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.....

  • which part is slow?

  • I have a 2ti an I recorded a short video. When I watch it on the camera, the quality's awesome, but when i put it in the computer, it's like, the quality's lost.....

  • @YukiCrossist Did you film with no lights ? The t2i isn't a Mark 2 so you need great light to make a sharp film. Verify tour ISO, make it as low as possible so that way, it will reduce grain.

  • I heard that tamron 17-50 has some issues with rebel t2i about focusing...is that true?

  • @xxallen87xx i had no problem with it.

  • god i want that drink so bad !

  • Кофейная скорость видео!

  • great quality. i also shoot with a canon rebel t2i. And i was wondering, do you just set it to 60 fps and thats it?

Also, what class card did you shoot this on? :)

    thank you

  • I'll take a coffee cup... AND DRINK IT!

  • how do u use the slow mo in the camera?

  • @MAJAsins You don't. It was slowed down using Premiere or After Effects or Final Cut Pro. If you know you're going to do a slow motion shot, it's best to shoot it at 60fps which the T2i/550 can only do at 720p.

  • @supercooled exactly.

  • @MAJAsins i film at 60fps then import it in AE and set the video to the right slomo ratio

  • Nice video ! Bravo !!!

  • AND SOOO, HOW DO YOU DO THIS!? D:

    (I have this camera)

could someone please answer my question, it'd be greatly appreciated. :)

  • @CaptainxCrayola Set your camera to 720p 60 fps. Then export your video to your computer. Import it in Adfter effects, Final cut or premiere (editing programs) and set your video speed to almost 200% and you're done !

  • now i need a cup of that !

  • @Arcomitry You need software that computes in-between frames

  • most intense video of coffee pouring....ever

  • hi, i have a question. did you use after effect program to do the slow motion? can it be done in adobe premiere? thanks

  • @Eyun yes, it's possible.

  • @Eyun yes. right click the clip and click "speed"

  • Amazing Quality! Check out my channel - I conect old 20 Dollar Cannon FD Lenses to the T2i/550D. The picture is amazing with the old cheap lenses...

  • This is ver nice done!

I have this cam too and would like to know what the settings are you used for recording (shutter, resolution etc).

    Would be very nice :)

  • do you use this camera for film? or still photography?

  • @logic33157 both. that's the magic of this rebel

  • why my 550d can't set 60 fps it can only 50 fps

  • @dolruedate cuz you live in a PAL region, if not your camera is set to PAL rather then NTSC

  • @dolruedate that's weird. My camera works on 60 fps.

  • @dolruedate weird. contact canon.

  • @dolruedate

it's because you have a different region code.

The camera with the region code NTSC can to 60fps and with PAL it can do 50fps.

PAL is Asian and European, NTSC is American i think

    hope it helped.

  • @dolruedate It's because it's either NTSC or PAL. One shoots 50fps the other shoots 60fps. Just changed the settings for what it films in.

  • @dolruedate that's because you set it on PAL settings, you have to set it to NTSC to do 60 fps

  • @dolruedate because you have the setting on PAL...switch it in the menu to NTSC

  • @dolruedate change from PAL to NTSC recording system.

  • @dolruedate : maybe european version.

  • @dolruedate You have to set your camera to NTSC to get 60fps. I believe your camera is set to PAL, which limits the fps to 50. (:

  • @dolruedate on your settings you need to change it from pal to ntsc or the other way round

  • @dolruedate try changing it from NTSC to pal

  • @dolruedate Set it to NTSC instead of PAL... or the other way, I forget.

  • @dolruedate you can shoot in 60 fps. go to menu > wrench settings > change NTSC to PAL. now you record in 720p 60 fps

  • See my video on a Roller Coaster with a Canon T2i, no post and directsound! :D (i'll give you a cookie)

  • after 0:25 the video sucks

  • @Sachicko lol

  • ok im hearing a lotta good things for picture quality..with this lens(tamron 17-50) what about movie quality??

  • @thatniggbeme7 pretty nice actually. A great light set up is better obviously but it's even true for any kind of lens, first of all, it's a photo camera and the lens is set for that.

  • Hi,

what editing software do you use?

I upload videos with the T2i from my computer straight to youtube since I can't edit them, but the quality is just terrible. What software do you reccomend? Thank you so much.

  • @laMenor276 after effects or Final cut.

  • @garypaitre why do people always say after effects???? its not even an editing system..

  • @erminmurrill I know, it's for effects... I always want to comment that it's not an editing software but I don't want to troll.

  • I will drink that coffee... good video

  • @HotelCasinoful thanks man

  • do you remember what f stop you used?

  • Fps?

  • @MrNuraT 60fps

  • Hey there @garypaitre what's the song used here? Where can I find this type of song? Thanks in advance for the reply dude.

  • @Deathseeker86 it's a music i get when i was at the offf in portugal 2 years ago. It has no name on the disk. Sorry fo that :s

  • Where was the slow motion? I could feel only normal motion.

  • @GauravCoolG5 it's only 60 fps, so just 2x slomo ... if you want to slomo really really slow, go for a RED camera, but the price isn't the same :)

  • song song song song?

  • @1mazarel Soundtrack from the OFFF lisboa 2009

  • Sorry, stupid question, but did you turn on slow motion on camera or make it in some kind of computerprogram ?

  • @Judek no edition, it's camera raw footage.

  • do you slow mo on the cam or in editing suite? if in the cam, how?

  • @hotgypsylips you first slomo with the cam, then you edit the speed or effect sin a program like after effects or final cut pro

  • how do you "slow motion" it? is some camera's feature or you used a program to lower it from 60 to 24/30?

    Thanks!

  • @aisles23 The camera has a slow motion feature built in.

  • @aisles23 I used after effects, but the footage is that slow, so no cheat, just an edit.

  • Sweet

  • Super cool!

  • So, how did you do the slow motion?

  • @huudiduu

Film at 60fps and then slow it down in editing. =)

  • how long can one shot be with the highest resolution on be? I heard it can only do 4gb each clip on the highest resolution. How long is that?

  • @Zingerphile

Because the camera isn't technically a 'camcorder', it's price is reduced and it is only allowed to record for 12 minutes in one clip. Although this is a very minor problem and you can record again instantly after 12 minutes so you only miss a second or two.

  • @Harry101UK

That is not true. I have a canon 550d and can film way over 12 minutes, without any issue.

  • @foreyeproductions

this cant be true. the 550d uses the FAT32 filesystem.. Which means it can only store data up to 4gb in a single file.

  • @psyxnl

As you say, this 4GB limit coincides with a limit of 12 minutes in a single 1080p clip. =)

I havn't had any problems as a result of this however and it's an awesome camera!

  • great video, I dont have the t2i yet just the t1i, but can you record in slow motion Via the Camera menu? or did you use the video editing program to make it slow motion?

  • @EyeDoStuff

You record footage at 60fps which makes the video very smooth and then you slow it down when editing it. ;)

  • very cool.... 60 fps ?

  • @RebelT2i

    Yeah that's 60 fps. =)

  • damn I want this camera ><

  • Very NICE!

  • hi, the tamron 17-50 that u use, is it the one with vibration compentation or the one without it ( older model ) ?

  • Yup. I have the same lens and body. Uploaded a video - just as silky smooth as your video minus the Bokeh

  • The coffee looks Delicious !

  • cool

  • the coffee looks very yummy!

  • Café Olimpico is one of the best in Montreal City :)

  • @garypaitre Your in MONTREAL O_O

  • @WhatTehFuckWasThat yes i am. Are you ?

  • @garypaitre yes :D

  • @garypaitre yep!

  • bloody hell!! like your coffee milky by any chance???

  • @BurgarProduction duh its a latte lol

  • @ByeByeBelly Yeh but still, I don't like it milky.

  • Comment removed

  • i have to get one!

  • could you please let me know how to convert 60 fps to 30 fps in AE. ive got cs3 version. Big thanks for help.

  • it's easy. cs3 or cs4 doesnt matter, its the same.

So, create a new comp 2 times longer than your video and make it 30 fps.

Then, drag you video into that comp, right click on the layer and go to "time". Select "time stretch" and put the stretch factor to 200%.

That's it ! You gonna see your video into slow motion.

    Enjoy !

  • thank you VERY MUCH!

  • You're welcome :)

  • how did you converted it to 30 fps?

  • i used After Effects cs4 but i guess any editing program like Premiere, Motion, Final Cut, etc... can do the same.

  • Nice footage!

Was this shot on 60p and then conformed to 24p?

  • indeed. it's 60 fps converted to 30 fps, so you can reduce it to 24 and get a lil more slow motion.

  • nice picture, would you recommend this lens? ive been debating whether to get it or not.

  • @gymshoe17 yes, i recommad you this lens. It's halt the price of a canon similar one. Really powerful.
