You criticize deism because it would make God a "bad God". Did it never occur to you that maybe God knew EXACTLY what was going to happen when he made the big bang? He's pretty smart, so I'd say that he knew where the particles would end up and probably planned so that certain things were created . In this sense, God gave us the tools we needed and let us run wild... How does that make him bad? It's like the kid who is going to college and gets to make his own decisions.

God did not write the Bible. Human beings wrote the Bible. If God actually did write a book, I would follow every word, but, in my mind, God did not write the Bible, or any other book on this earth!
