go to my blog, i have an exakt guide how to flash this drive (lite-on 83850c) and you can do it directly in windows!

I work with this every day(i open xbox and flash them).

i think i have flashed over 200 different xbox drives like hitachi, samsung, benq and of course lite on :D

on the 8 series you dont need a probe/ck3 but on the 7 series you do

this is a new drive not to be confused with the previously unmoddable liteon

There is no such thing as unmoddable........ they are all moddable.

no, the original liteon could not be modded, it had to be replaced with another drive once you extracted the key
