  • I bet the TONKA toy version of the 994 has a 10 cubic budket.. The sand pit would have to be the Sahara desert.... LOL.......

  • i hate slideshws

  • chuck norris played with this in the sandbox when he was a kid

  • kinda too big

  • think he has a big enough machine for that job? lmao

  • thats one way to remove stumps......... very very easy fer the 994 lol cool, im subbin u

  • @glennrickard323575 ive got a video of the 1850 in longview tx

  • makes my 980H look like a tonka toy

  • Those are built to have the throttle run wide open. Thats why tthere is a throttle lock on it.

  • T_T We got earth hippies on the comments...

  • were is that?

  • damn i thought the 980 was big

  • thats what chuck norris drives to the store

  • that's a whole lot of machine just to be playing

  • ok the dozer is a d11n the reason y i have both a 994 and a d11n in 1/50 scale and the 994 is twice the size of the d11n

  • @bumoffhtestreet I would say a D8 or D9......definitely not a D11N

  • To answer the question, Cat has a policy that the air coming out of the engine must be cleaner than the air going in. You may see soot, but believe it or not, it's not as bad as you may think.

  • What size dozer is that sitting next to the loader??

  • The 994 be it the 994D or the current 994F is the largest Cat wheel loader ever built. This is the 5,000th video I have watched on youtube.

  • Pretty Awesome. I wonder why some people dont or cant read. The title says BIGGEST CAT LOADER. Some fool kept mentioning something else.

What is it with these people?

  • hea yea i want one just to dig my pond and to play in my sand box with it lets get some dirt work done

  • I could think of plenty of other machines I'd scoop up half full buckets of trees with. Wonder who is paying the fuel bill?

  • OMG, how pollutant is that thing? :S

  • @dfigbnjhwegwrptohjnw

Interesting question. As the size of these machines increases the amount of fuel and pollution they can create per hour increases greatly. However, the amount of pollution and fuel consumption per unit of work they can do goes down. So the bigger they are the greener they can be.

As for how much this machine pollutes Look below to see the fuel consumed per hour and take it from there.

  • @dfigbnjhwegwrptohjnw Stick your head over the exhaust pipe for awhile and let us know

  • @devonevans: This comment is a clear proof of your intelligence and perspicacity, so it is clear that you already tried what you're suggesting. It's also evident tha it's NO GOOD.

Now you can try to stick it up your...you know what, let us know if you like it.

  • @dfigbnjhwegwrptohjnw Sure and you coming on you tube with this reply shows your over acting for your tiny pecker.

If you don't want a stupid reply don't ask somthing stupid

  • @dfigbnjhwegwrptohjnw diesel doesn't pollute as bad as gas the smoke is just soot and carbon

  • CAT needs to build a loader that's competitive with the LeTourneau L-2350. The 994 only has 1/2 the horsepower of the LeTourneau L-2350 and its bucket needs twice as many passes as the L-2350's to load a 360-400-ton-payload truck.

  • Im sorry but thats not the biggest loader in the world the biggest one is the Letourneau L-2350

  • the title says its the largest cat loader.key word largest cat wheel loader.

  • @blankfieldfive the title says the worlds largest CAT wheel loader

  • Shear awesome...would pay the gas bill to play on that for a day....that is saying alot

  • @Rabbit12100 200 gallons an hour eh?

  • @Rabbit12100 a 994 fuel tank holds 1013 gallons so if you are using 200 gallons an hour you are refueling every 5 hours,i don't think so

  • The 994D came in 1998 and the current model is the 994F

  • This was introduced 20 years ago in 1990.

  • Have seen 2 of these. One was in a Farmersburg,Indiana coal mine 3 weeks after 911.The other sat in the back of Johnson Machinery in Riverside,Ca for over a year. This particular had had no tires, bucket or cab but nonethelss it was pretty big

  • Glenn ,Have the tires sizes for these larger wheel loaders been dveloped yet?Are there any protoypes out there?

  • Really like the tires it has on it.I drove the plant where the 4,210 cid 3516 is made that powers this huge wheel loader

  • The LeTourneau L-2350 currently holds the world record as the largest wheeled loader. However, in the next few years, much larger loaders may be built and used in mines, oil sands, major construction projects, and quarries which will make both the Caterpillar 994 and the LeTourneau L-2350 look 'average'.

  • the operator was not a very experianced operator on that machine because if he was he could make that machine dance and it was not doing what it should be doing! the demo was put on by a so so operator just for the show

  • The 994 is not the worlds largest loader. The LeTournea L2350,L1850,L1450 and the Komatsu WA1200 are larger

  • Its biggest Loader form caterpillar as a Tech i want to work on this Machine.

  • Looks fun to drive that machine. Not often to see a 994 moving dirt.
