  • This is amazing. : ) I think Buster Keaton is the most talented and beautiful man to have ever graced the silver screen. They don't make them like they used to...

  • Absolutely beautiful. wonderful job.

  • He was beautiful when he was young! Oh, those lucky girls that had a chance to look into those deep, dark eyes! This is a fantastic video.

  • GREAT VIDEO! Thanks!!!

  • Love this and Buster! Great job! W00t!

  • a great shave hahaha

  • No, thank YOU for putting together your inspiring Buster tributes!. I totally agree with someone else who said watching these is like going to her own little happy place. Watching my dreamboat's awesome array of expressions always makes my day better. HE may not smile, but he sure makes me smile!

  • Lovingly gorgeous. I agree with the "slowing him down".

  • A very pretty compilation. Thanks to whomever posted this.

  • @illusiongenius That would be me. Thanks for watching. :)

  • BEAUTIFUL; mesmerizing and in some scenes, heartbreaking. :-) Yes, these clips show why the term, "The Great Stone Face" is actually a misnomer: his face was VERY expressive even though he rarely smiled or laughed on film.

Btw - you would never make it as a Hollywood film maker: you're just TOO GOOD for the likes of today!

  • @TakersMissy Too kind! Thankyou! :D

  • @bwiel You're very welcome. Hey - I just call it as I see it! :-)

  • Could someone please tell me what is the movie at 6:20? The other actor, the guy in the back seat, looks very familiar and I'm trying to figure out who he is ... thanks!

  • @VictoriaBlogger : Robert Montgomery, who was Elizabeth Montgomery's (Bewitched) father.

  • Your videos of Buster make my heart beat faster.....and make me smile. Glad he has such talented admirers as yourself, and a place here for all to see him over and over. He was so special and unique. thanks again.....mmmmm.....now must come back to reality.....!

  • @suemai1 reality is over rated... lol ;)

  • beautiful. He's my favorite. Thanks.

  • Keep you shirt on, oh I had no intention of removing it, very witty

  • Thanks for this beautiful film. So much of Keaton was his beauty and I think he knew that.

You captured him perfectly. As a huge Keaton fan you made my xmas.

    Great music too.

  • @amaizie hehe glad to hear it. Thankyou!

  • My God those eyes!...Today we have Brad Pitt and George Clooney...Absolutely no comparison. A true artist in the realm of film. God bless you Buster.

  • lo amoo¡¡¡

  • Sometimes his face reminds me of a grasshopper, a hare or a horse...

    What an amazing man :)

  • THE LITTLE DYNAMO !

  • I only recently discovered Buster Keaton, and have become totally besotten ! Your video is amazing ! The best compilation I've seen. Those eyes of his were especially hypnotizing and just melt my heart. You've selected a montage with so many great moments and I salute you ! It's so much fun to watch. Thank you !!

  • @katsplay1 :) Thanks for watching & taking the time to comment!

  • Thanks for making this video. It's gorgeous. One of my favorite Keaton looks is that moment from "Go West" around 9:23, where he goes from concern to that ah-ha epiphany of a sly idea. His moon eyes said it all. He was simply made to entertain in silence. :)

  • What film is 0:39-0:50? Such a beautiful expression on his face.

  • Today I realized the true brilliance of your film and why it captivates me. It's everything but, one thing in particular, you've slowed it down. Slo-mo Buster allows us to see him completely. We already knew we loved him but, when you slowed him down we can really see what his expressions are.Like a bolt of lightning or a waterfall. We know they are magnificent, and when you slow them down you truly understand why!

  • @jettyoeill Aye you got me! ;) So much happens so quickly with BK, slowing him down reveals much. Thankyou for watching.

  • O.K., this is now my favorite film of Buster Keaton. It is not just a montage, and it is brilliant! It has become my little happy place that I have to look at everyday!!! I see something differant and stunning everytime! @bweil, Are you a proffesional film maker? OMG, if not, you should be.

    Thanks everyday,LOL

  • @jettyoeill *blush* :) Thankyou. No this was a work of love. Love for Buster & my friend. I don't make films professionally, though that would be pretty cool 't is true.

  • Bella is a very lucky woman to receive such a thoughtful and beautiful gift! Thank you for sharing Bella's gift, it is a masterpeice! I love the way you slowed it down, the music, the choice of clips and editing. TCM would be smart to pay you and Bella a fortune for the right to use it. Ahhhhhh, fantastc !!!!!

  • @jettyoeill Aww thankyou ever so much. I am glad you enjoyed watching & thanks for the comment.

  • This was simply magnificent. A moving and beautiful homeage to a beautiful [and brilliant] angel among men. Very well done :)

  • @pattimus Thankyou very much! :)

  • I am head over heels for Buster <3

  • @anjelmorg You're not alone :)

  • Watching Buster is like watching a breathing work of art. Thank you for combining two of my favorite things, Buster and Saint Saens.

  • @ftcrodis Glad you enjoyed it! :) Thankyou.

  • Bravo!!! Well done, thank you for sharing!

  • Just wonderful!!! What a beautiful tribute to Buster Keaton! This should be played on TCM and it should get some kind of an award!!! Too bad Chaplin had such a massive and apparently fragile ego. He should have established a "comedian's studio" with himself, Keaton and Harold Lloyd. Keaton was "sold" to MGM and lost all creative control. What a waste of a genius.

  • @baxter5431 :D thanks!

  • does anybody know the name of the piece of music by Camille Saint-Saëns used here? it's so beautiful. fantastic video too, as beatingbrahms said; really captured the essence of buster's beauty. <3

  • @WeirdThing

Symphony No. 3 in C Minor, Op. 78, "Organ Symphony": I. Adagio - Allegro moderato - Poco adagio"

  • @bwiel Thank you so much!

  • @oniondemon It's High Sign. The short Keaton first directed.

  • Wow, amazing clip. Thanks for posting it. Buster Keaton was so adorable. I love his deadpan face, those eyes of his, (sigh) and he was always a gentleman. He was the best!

  • So many expressions from a deadpan!

    Sigh.... So lovely.

  • Epic in his beauty... You captured his essence wonderfully. Also a very haunting piece of music you put this to. It sets the mood for magic. Thank you.

  • @beatingbrahms His beauty is epic isn't it! :) Thankyou for watching & commenting. Glad you enjoyed it.

  • Please, does anyone know the name of the film at 2:41 to 2:51? I remember this scene but neither the film or it's title. Thank you.

  • Beautiful tribute to the most beautiful face ever...thank you....

  • Keaton and Garbo were exceptional in showing hurt in their eyes.

  • What movie is the clip from that starts at 8:20? I don't think I've seen it, but Buster looks so handsome there, I'm definitely going to have to seek it out.

  • @h0zana 'Sidewalks of New York', & yes he looks very handsome in that movie...:)

  • @bwiel Thanks for getting back to me. I've always avoided his sound movies, but maybe if I watch it on mute...?

  • @h0zana It's your call. :) I've never avoided watching or listening to anything of Busters. I don't need to keep any particular ideal of him in my head. I'll take him as he really was. But that's just me.

  • @bwiel Oh, don't get me wrong, I love his voice, and actually have a playlist of clips of him singing. I just don't care to watch him being subjected to the Urkelish roles MGM cast him in. I feel that you see him as he REALLY really was, as he saw himself, when you see him in the films that he had full say over.

  • @h0zana I understand :)

  • @bwiel I knew you would.

  • @h0zana his voice is actually really great... it's what MGM did that thwarted his genius and diminished his roles pairing him w the boisterous Jimmy Durante on a number of films... no symbiosis there as was the case w Fatty , and the many other talented actors of his earlier work who supported his character development. His parting words as he left MGM were said to be " you warped my character". yet he was a survivor and a singular talent which can never be denied nor diminished.

  • @twomblypublishing :) Thanks for your input. Buster's voice was lovely.

  • he's so handsome <3

  • @hollowaymccartney He really is! :D

  • This wonderful video really showcases the serene and gloriously poetic beauty of Buster- well done!

  • @Kubelikwise Thankyou for commenting! :)

  • This makes me laugh and cry. Beautiful. :)

  • @NicoleK0381 Nice, just the effect I was hoping for! Glad you like it. :)

  • What film is the talkie clip at 1:53 from?

  • @glassoniongirl64 It's Speak Easily (1932) :D

  • @minakoeli Thanks :)

  • Where's 4:48, 7:48, and 8:21 from? Especially the last one :P

  • @TheComicStripCast 4:48 it's Speak Easily (1932) :)

  • @minakoeli Thanks. :) Unfortunately, I happened to see it a couple of weeks ago. I'm still looking for the other two if you know them though.

  • That was epic!! This is the best Buster Keaton montage i've seen so far! Great choice of clips and music! =)

  • @21JumpStreetKid Praise indeed! Thanks for watching!

  • @bwiel You're welcome! =) Buster was so adorable. <3

  • This might be the best BK montage of them all. Great choice of music. Thanks

  • @74classicchic :) Thanks for watching!

  • Love it! This is now one of my favorite Buster videos! He was so talented and on top of that so remarkably attractive! Everytime I see his films, I can't take my eyes off him. I always loved the chauffer scene from Free and Easy with his hat down over his head and his eyes there are so amazing! Just lovely! :P

  • @Busterseyes yes Buster's eyes are stunning. Glad you enjoy the video. :)

  • *le sigh* :)

  • Beautiful video! Beautiful music too!!

I'm sure Bella was very pleased with it!

  • Great video, you did a wonderful job.
