  • I love the sound of vinyl . . . Give me the clicks and pops and white noise! :)

  • The neat thing is that you can SEE the guitar solo in the grooves...where the surface of the shellac isn't quite as reflective.

  • next time you want to extract audio out of vinyl, put a pre-amp in between the amp & the turntable. you'll get much better sound quality from it. just a suggestion. -djQ

  • @QUASARA Over the last year or so that's almost what I've done...well, my dad has

  • @QUASARA Strangely it's these rough old 'camcorder mic' clips that get the most hits. They sound like how the older viewers would of heard them then

  • Such a tragic loss to a wife who was deprived a lifetime with this man as was an audience deprived of what probably would have been lost decades of excellent guitar. The title "the king of rock" would have gone to Buddy Holly.

  • I love this song!

  • easy song to play on guitar. just three chords A, D and E

  • yall have to put these : for it to register for example 1:26 best guitar solo in history.

  • Buddy's best song, and one of the best of 50's rock. This is pure rock n' roll with an emphasis on beat and rhythm.

  • R.I.P. Buddy. still be missing you. *****

  • buddy holly big bopper and ritchie valens were my favorites out of the 50's era it is too bad they all died together

  • Yep, 1.26 solo =Goose bumps every time... great memories.

  • You know what they say. Three chords is all it takes.

Theres something spooky about this tune. Like it would be a good song to play during a party in someones tomb. If there is ever such party, I hope im invited.

  • I was recently playing Divinity II which isn't a very good game, but anyways I noticed something that made me smile, two girls outside in a village standing next to each other, with the names Peggy and Sue.

  • i remember record players!

  • The unique beat of the drums fit this song perfectly and have always wondered who came up with this idea.

  • @OjaiRoy Hey, i believe JI ( the drummer) couldn't get the right beat, so he suggested using paradiddles and they did.

  • @KingFlopsy

    Thank you.

  • Peggy Sue wasn't his girlfriend lol

it was one of his band members.

He had a wife named Maria Elena Holly.

She owns a restaurant in Dallas, TX. I live in Dallas. I have been there and met her. Before you try and bullshit, Get your facts straight. :D

  • o k
