Most people in South Ossetia are Russian and support separation. Georgia attempted genocide of those people(they attacked first) so that they could get their territory(even though it was never part of Georgia) back. Georgia also counted on help from the west, but West and Russia would never go to war for obvious reasons. Russia needed to protect it's citizens, and punish Georgia for what it did to a peaceful population, and Russia accomplished that.

I disagree with you. The recruiter that Im talking to hasnt actually recruited me yet but were getting to that point. Its hard for me to get into the U.S. Air Force. They wont accept my diploma from my school because Im from a tear 2 school so I have to earn 15 credits from Trade Tech LA. I also have to score higher on the ASVAB than others coming from tear 1 schools. If I want to be a pilot after working with E.O.D. (Explosives Ordinance Disposal), Ill have to attend a four year college.

Branches in order of easiest to hardest- Air Force, Coast Guard, Navy, Army, Marines. Interchange CG and AF to get "mortality rate".

I know their training standards almost inside-out, and it's not that hard (to me it isn't since I used to be a Div.1 athlete).

I dont really care to read the NY or LA times because theyre both bias. However, I do read a variety of news papers. I cant always rely on news papers to give me facts because sometimes writers will post things without checking to see if it is true.

Reporters on ANY paper have to get their article past the EDITOR first, who is usually quite "Conservative", both in political alignment and in making sure that FACTS are used and the least amount of "jargon" as possible. That's why they are "Editors" - they delete/prohibit stuff.
