Anti-kick back pawls are useless as the material was inclided to lift off the table top, for a safer alternate see seumas2 on youtube, the extension when it exits the table top is a copy of macduff's technology

@seumas2 They are not useless. What I saw was the bottom edge of the wood got caught on the table and he gave it a little nudge to lift it over. If you watch it back you can't really see what catches the piece. But you can definitely tell he gives it a nudge, that's why it lifts up.

@sssiod , with the ati-kick back pawls up front and over-head of the cutting tool, like macduff placed his on the stationary fence of the original jimmy jig in fact realy makes more sence.
