No, not the east coast, the west coast nor the south coast - the Northern FRESHWATER COASTS that none of the States you try to tout can hold a candle to duplicating what Michigan has, just will never happen. Even Minnesota with its 10,000 lakes. So, we have more inland lakes than that PLUS frontage on 4 of the 5 great lakes, including the most beautiful, the Summer Western Sandy Shores of Pure Michigan. Nice spot. However, I agree with "brown" in his general sentiment, if not his eloquence. The Upper Peninsula is getting far less attention in Pure Michigan. For example, how many U.P. special discounts do you see? How many spots like this one? Not many for all the great things we have up here. If the Pure Michigan game plan is to promote our state's great natural resources and vacation spots, why keep one of your best players on the bench?
