  • John Michael Talbot went down the Protestant path.

He found it led to a dead end.

John Michael Talbot became a Pagan (Native American religion)

He found many symbolism, but not God.

John Michael Talbot became part of the Jesus movement.

He found many high on illusions.

John Michael Talbot read the Early Church Fathers.

He found the TRUE FAITH. He found the FULLNESS OF CHRISTIANITY.

He became a Roman Catholic, the Church the Lord founded.

He also became a Franciscan Friar.

  • @Search4diabetescure Roman Catholic Church? You mean that big, flashy, gawdy organization headed by a so-called "divinely inspired" Pope? The one responsible for the Crusades, the Inquisition, and countless European wars? The very same Church that commits idolatry by worshiping Mary and deceased saints? That dogmatic establishment which replaced the fullness of Christ's sacrifice with indulgences and confession?

That's the "true faith", huh? Yea, right. *Rolls eyes*

  • @IDFPleonexia - You think and speak like a Protestant Penis Lover.

NEWS FLASH: Protestants ARE NOT CHRISTIANS. They are liken to Transvestites, men who like to wear female's undies, wigs, stockings and high heels. They prance around pretending to be women all the while their members between their legs betray them.

Likewise, Protestants prance around with Bible this and Bible that, but they are just playing. They have NO IDEA what they talk about, and make things up as they go.

  • @Search4diabetescure Cute! A personal attack, but I don't see any attempts on your part at refuting my claims. Is it because you can't? Is it because I'm right? Both? Probably and, given your childish response, I can only assume you won't try to prove me wrong. Oh, and by the way- I'm not Protestant, but that was a nice, ignorant assumption. So much for love and peace anyway, let's just call me a "Penis Lover".

*Sniff sniff* You stink of the foulest hypocrisy.

  • @IDFPleonexia - I am not about Peace. I am about using a Crow Bar and beating the living daylight out of people like you.

  • @Search4diabetescure Yea, because THAT makes you look sane.

You see, I respect John Michael Talbot. He's a calm, peaceful, level-headed individual. I may not agree with his choice to become a monk, but I enjoy his music. You, on the other hand, are an immature fool parading yourself as some holy saint, spitting hypocritical rubbish without pause.

    Enjoy your misguided life.

  • Sorry about your sleeping problem, and I'm happy that this music helps you. However, I believe that this type of music is meant to be more directed at helping us to reflect of the Word of God in which each song is deeply centered around. These songs help me to pray. It is true: "when you sing, you pray twice."

  • How are we to sing praises of the Lord in an alien land? How are we to come and worship the Lord when we are exiled from our own "convento"?

In our solitude and alienation, we come to realize that no divide can come between us and the Lord. We come and worship Him in the wilderness of our lives.

In my heart's memory, in my solitary path in the world, John Michael Talbot's voice echoes each morning. And as I hum it, I am made aware that I am in communion with the new people of God.

  • i've loved u all since you all began... 30 years today for me... 30 years of walking with our Lord and Savoir, thank u so kindly for all u do... love u all... God's rickest blessings towards u all... Rene'

  • very nice

  • Wow, what a slap in the face. After listening to John I just realized I have missed Mass three weeks in a row, which basically means that I have spit in our Savior's face. Yeah feeling pretty "proud." God forgive me.

  • Still my favorite :)

  • yes come inter in to his holy worship my friends

  • O WORSHIP THE LORD YESHUA, The Lamb, in the beauty of holiness ! LET EVERYTHING that hath breath praise and adore Him !

  • I was 22 yrs old in 1985 when John came to our church,he was a very quiet gentle soul an an amazing artist for the Lord. My mother & I shared his music on Vinyl, cassttes an CD's.I being a soprano from a very young age, would sit & sing his music. I to this day still sing w/ a heart of thanksgiving for the Lord touching my tender life at age 17.Then it was when I was 30 something, he came again to Calgary an there I met his wife.

God Bless you John . . . .Wendy

  • great! luv it

  • I am not sure about the dry humor about Pentecost.. but its very gentle... and a bit sweet :)

  • very prayerful! great!

  • John, your blessings and talents are from Most High, and I thank you for your talent and inspiration. I can't tell you how much your songs have assisted me in many occasions over the years.

    God bless, Jeanne

  • A great straight man!

  • So beautiful...Let us Worship The Lord everyday! Let us praise God!!!!

  • Simply beautiful...

  • Pax et Bonum Brother John.

  • love JMT music..always have. I would ask JMT a question, how do you feel about the trend of Christians spreading the word today? I mean, what are your thoughts on the prophetic, the prosperity ministries, or the conflicting ideas of what prosperity is and what it is not. How do U understand the scripture where Jesus states that it is "harder for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of heaven than it is for a camel to go through the eye of a needle?"

  • I heard from a friend that the word camel in Arabic is gamel, but so also is the word for rope. Like our word in English Spring is a season, an action, and an object. Think of it like it is easier for a rope to go through the eye of a needle, or could refer to the needle gate- and how a camel needed to shed all it was carrying because the gate was so narrow.

  • Such a calming video. It really says it all.

  • This is lovely.

Thank you very much. It is enjoyable.

    Welldone and God bless †

  • I always come back to this song when I want to remember what it's all about.

    Jeannemarie

  • John Michael Talbot -- and this song in particular -- got me through the 90s

And every time I played for more than two people, I started with this song

  • I love John Michael Talbot.I read his book about how to live like St Francis of Assisi. I also saw him in the documentary on the life of the late Rich Mullins. Wow, can you imagine how awesome that would be to talk about Jesus with John Michael Talbot, Rich Mullins and St Francis? WOW! God is so good! God bless

  • Just imagine how AWESOME IT IS TO TALK WITH JESUS! Lord, you are TOO WONDERFUL FOR WORDS!

  • k6tpl

We all grow weak, but stay strong, I will pray for you and many other fellow catholics, we are never alone with christ

  • I must say as a Cradle Catholic, I have sometimes grown weak and strayed! Alone I sit and listen to your Great Gift of Music and my Faith is renewed. Thank You! Peace and Good.

"St Francis is Proud I am sure of Brother John"
