Yeah it's this one! You can see Tshirt and Debbie in the background.. the song changes if you own the video to once in royal david city! I know too much about this clearly...
@AntarcticaTelevision Oh my god thank you so much for uploading this how have you managed too keep this tape in really good condition considering this video is going as far back too 1987 a very very long time ago and well thats later on in the 80s but you recorded this and now you shared it with us and it is very much appreciated this is thanks very much for uploading such a classic closing episode of Sooty I love that christmas episode off Sooty it does bring back so many memories thank you
@AntarcticaTelevision I still love that Christmas song they sung in Sooty Christmas time is a time for some celebrations Santas in town wow that is a great song start at 0:00 I remember seeing that Sooty episode many years ago it was first shown in 1985 I think on Boxing Day then shown again during Christmas 1987 I love that song starting at 0:00 it is a great classic its also interesting to hear that song after a very very long time thank you very much love that song at 0:00 and at 1:251:26
So amazing to see presenters talking to kids like human beings... now a days you get about five seconds of some over paid 'celebrity' talking bollocks! Are kids more stupid? Or are they just represented that way by TV?
This is the era when companies like Thames TV ruled the airwaves with top-notch production and talent. Thames delivered such gems as "The Sooty Show", and the excellent and unrivalled "Rainbow".
Since theres so much Xmas day stuff, It should of been shown on the big day!

@mistofoles Richard Cadell was the guy who later took over Sooty from Matthew in the late '90s.

I'm sure there was a Sooty Xmas show which had one of the 'stars' of TBag in it. I remember my mum telling me at the time. Might be this one.

We never had it so good as kids in the 1980s. Good shows, talented hosts back then. Bollocks to TV from 1993 onwards.

i'd say it got worse from 98 onwards! Live and Kicky, Byker Grove, Sooty and co were still good after 93!

@GeorgeASFTHM Are you saying that maybe with a hint of bias pal ?

Kids are more stupid. Ok so we weren't all budding Einstein's back in the day but shit, compared to today's lot.

@AntarcticaTelevision If you are talking about the woman at 1.33 I think it is Debbie Shore - she now works on the Ideal shopping channel
